Learn rune-based spells that change how you fight, move, and solve puzzles
Master deliberate, skill-based combat that rewards patience and precision
Uncover a fragmented story told through environments, NPCs, and discovery

Magic in Runic Winds is learned through play. Each spell is a tool to be understood and mastered, encouraging creative problem-solving and allowing skilled players to feel truly powerful by the end of their journey.

As Maria awakens with no memory of her past, players slowly piece together the truth of the world and its runes. The story unfolds subtly, rewarding curiosity and attention rather than exposition.
A playable demo introduces the opening area and first dungeon, showcasing the game’s core mechanics, tone, and approach to mastery-driven gameplay.
Runic Winds is designed for players who enjoy learning systems, overcoming challenges through understanding, and discovering worlds with intention.

Dev update 5/21
Hey everyone! Just wanted to give a small update on where Runic Winds is at.Over the last little while I’ve taken some time to focus on school (I'll be graduating this December!) and some personal time away from development. I’ve still been thinking about Runic Winds constantly (that never really stops), but stepping back for a bit helped me recharge and come back with a clearer head.Development is continuing, and right now I’m heavily focused on Deepwood Shrine — the first major dungeon of the game. This chapter is shaping up to be a really important moment for the world, puzzles, exploration, and what it means to be a rune bearer. I’ve been building new environmental puzzle systems, refining spells, and making sure this next portion feels meaningful and worth the wait.Thank you all for the patience, kind messages, wishlists, and support so far. Seriously, seeing people care about this world means a lot to me.Back to building!Read full article on Community Announcements (Geccobot)Patch NotesOfficial

Thank you for the incredible response
I've been genuinely blown away by the number if people checking out the Runic Winds demo over the past few days. Seeing players explore the world, learn the systems, and share their thoughts has meant more to me than I can put into words. I'm continuing to improve the demo, fix issues as they're found, and build out the world beyond what you've played so far. This project has always been about crafting something honest and deliberate, and im beyond excited to keep going. Thank you for playing, wishlisting, and sharing your time with Runic Winds. More Soon.-GeccoBotRead full article on Community Announcements (Geccobot)
