Manage and upgrade your golems to unearth increasingly valuable resources in Infinite Ruins, a casual strategy game where the depth of your mining efforts knows no bounds.
About this game
Infinite Ruins is an incremental mining game where you command a team of golems, destroy elemental blocks powered by ice, fire, lightning, poison, and more, and descend layer after layer into the depths below.
As you progress, the entire world transforms into a self-sustaining machine under your control. Freeze, explode, clear entire sections, and do it all again, faster than before.
The layers were here long before you
The ruins existed long before your arrival. Who built them? Why were they abandoned? No one knows. Your job is simple: dig deeper. One layer, then another. Gather every resource you can find and keep descending into the unknown.
The golems await your command
A growing roster of golems is ready to be unlocked. Ice, Fire, Rock, and more, each serves a unique purpose. Place them manually and direct their actions, or let them operate automatically while you focus on optimization. Even when you're not actively mining, resources continue to flow.
Chain reactions vs random events
Lightning can cut through entire layers. Ice spreads across neighboring blocks. Resource Vortices may swallow valuable materials before you can collect them. But every challenge can be overcome. Build the right team of golems, unlock powerful upgrades, and create devastating chain reactions capable of handling anything the ruins throw at you.
There is no end, only deeper layers
The deeper you descend, the stranger the layers become and the more meaningful your decisions are. Choose which upgrades to prioritize, when to unlock new golems, and how to tackle the next stage of progression. Beyond every layer lies even greater growth and ever-increasing numbers.
Features
Endless downward mining: Break blocks, gather resources, and accelerate your mining and destruction with powerful upgrades.
Specialized golem teams: Build your own underground operation with 8 unique golem types, each fulfilling a different role.
Deep upgrade progression: Unlock nearly 100 upgrades and feel a clear sense of growth with every purchase.
Elemental synergies: Combine 6 different elements to create powerful interactions between fire, ice, lightning, poison, and more.
Collapse the Ruins through a deep Prestige system with permanent Rune upgrades.
~4–5 hours to complete the main story, with around 7 hours to reach 100% completion.
Continue your journey in Endless Mode with infinite progression.
If you enjoy watching numbers grow, making meaningful progression choices, or building systems that keep working while you're away, Infinite Ruins offers a world worth digging into one layer at a time.

Update 1.2.0 - New Progression, Journal, Synergies & Improved Endless Mode
Hello everyone! We're excited to share a major update for Infinite Ruins focused on improving progression, pacing, replayability, and giving you more reasons to keep digging.Based on your feedback and our observations since launch, we've made some significant changes to how the game unfolds across your first runs, added a completely new Journal, introduced Elemental Synergies, and reworked Endless Mode.New Progression StructureWe've split the upgrade tree into stages so that players don't unlock and maximize most of the game's content during their first one or two runs.Nothing has changed visually in the upgrade tree, but the progression gates have been rebalanced to encourage you to prestige and gradually discover the deeper mechanics of Infinite Ruins. You can still grind your way to the next stage without Prestiging, but Prestiging will make reaching these milestones much more efficient. The goal is to make each run feel like a meaningful step forward rather than allowing too much of the game to be unlocked at once.Rune GenerationRune generation has also been reworked.Starting from the fifth Rune generation point of each run, generating additional Runes becomes progressively more difficult. This makes Prestiging a much more important part of optimizing your progression and encourages you to decide when it's time to collapse the ruins and start again.Hidden VeinsHidden Veins no longer requires specific upgrades or Prestige upgrades to appear.Instead, its resource cost has been increased considerably. This makes it a more straightforward progression gate while still keeping it as an important milestone later in the game.World Events Can Now Be AutomatedWorld Events are now designed around a progression from manual interaction to full automation. When you first encounter an event, you'll need to actively deal with it yourself. As you progress and purchase the appropriate upgrades, you can gradually reduce the amount of manual interaction required until the event can be ful...Read full article on Community Announcements (kilekagames)Patch NotesOfficial
