About this game
Face the paranormal in this survival horror experience. Monitor surveillance cameras, identify entities using professional equipment, and maintain the stability of an abandoned psychiatric hospital before your sanity runs out.
Short Description
Containment: Psychiatric is a survival horror experience where you take the night shift as a field investigator inside an abandoned psychiatric hospital. Your task is simple in theory: monitor the cameras, identify spectral entities, and keep the system stable before your sanity collapses.
Will you make it to dawn… or become another patient of the shadows?
Long Description
The Shift That Changes Everything
Welcome to your new job.
As a field investigator, you have been assigned to one of the most unstable facilities in the sector. Your office is small, your responsibility enormous. You are not here just to watch screens. You are here to contain what others failed to control.
Identification & Survival
Use a full set of professional tools including EMF readers, spirit communication devices, and night-vision cameras to collect evidence and classify the entity lurking in the dark.
Containment Technology
The GH-OS IDENTIFIER v1.0 is your lifeline. Manage battery power, repair system failures, and activate the Ecto-Fluid Stabilizer (EEC) to suppress paranormal activity.
But be careful: critical pressure levels and the slow collapse of your sanity are just as dangerous as the entities themselves.
Key Features
Investigation Gameplay
Collect up to three types of evidence (footprints, orbs, freezing temperatures, and more) to identify over 20 unique entities, each with its own behavior and threat profile.
Resource Management
Carefully control battery usage, night vision, and ultraviolet light while maintaining the integrity of the EEC system.
Multiple Game Modes
Story Mode
Survive a series of escalating nights, guided by in-game calls and tutorial support.
Extreme Challenges
Test your limits in Nightmare and Scarcity modes, built for experienced investigators.
Survival Mode
How long can you last before the shadows claim you?
Progression System
Earn credits for your services in “Spectral Exorcism & Cleanup.”
Spend your paychecks in the in-game Shop to unlock new rooms, upgrades, and collectibles.
Deeply Immersive Atmosphere
A haunting soundscape and a dedicated retro-terminal interface place you inside a real containment operation.
Available Equipment
Surveillance Monitor: Access 8 strategically placed cameras.

COPS - FIX AP006.1
Patch – AP006.1Several adjustments have been made to improve gameplay clarity and the overall player experience.Tutorial ImprovementsThe tutorial text has been expanded and refined to better explain how the investigation tools work and what the player’s objectives are. Specifically:Evidence sandbox clarification: The tutorial now explicitly mentions (twice) that all evidence types are temporarily markable. This is intentional and designed to help players learn how to identify different types of evidence.Ghost selection clarification: The ghost is automatically determined by the game’s internal logic. Once all evidence is marked, the correct ghost will be resolved automatically in the terminal. Previously, players thought something was broken when no ghost appeared selected.UV Light SystemThe “UV Light” button in the HUD is now purely visual. To avoid confusion, the system now works exclusively with the ‘F’ key. The button will display “(F)” as a reminder of the hotkey.Difficulty Adjustment (Night 1)The probability of ghosts leaving evidence during the first night has been increased by 10%. This should help new investigators experience a more active session and discover clues more frequently.Good luck in the psychiatric ward. Don’t forget to check your tools often.Read full article on Community Announcements (Kenta)AnnouncementsOfficial

COPS - Ghostly Redesign
Redesign Update - AP005Entity Redesign: Toward an Organic PresenceI’ve begun a visual evolution process for all entities that haunt the psychiatric facility. The goal is to move away from the synthetic, overly polished look of AI-generated assets and push toward a more raw, tangible, and unsettling form of horror.🎨 Design and Texturing RefinementThe new ghost models and textures have been reworked using classic design techniques to give them greater depth and a stronger sense of visual authenticity.Granularity and Grime: Layers of micro-textures have been added to simulate decay, dust, and organic matter, removing the overly smooth surfaces.Dynamic Visual Noise: Entities now feature a layer of static noise that makes them feel unstable, as if their very existence is interfering with reality.Organic Appearance: Digital shapes have been softened to create more asymmetrical, natural silhouettes, evoking a sense of physical presence that was previously lost in algorithmic perfection. For more visual details, visit the official site: COPSThis change marks the first step in a complete redesign of the specter gallery. We’ll continue refining each entity to ensure every encounter feels distinct and visually striking.Thank you for your continued feedback. Containment continues, now with a heavier atmosphere than ever.Read full article on Community Announcements (Kenta)AnnouncementsOfficial
