About this game
Presto! is an N64-style collectathon that combines classic 3D platforming gameplay with the physics-based Rolling Globe that allows Presto to roll around, bounce, and take-off on ramps at high speeds! Presto will explore surreal worlds where he collects the lost magic of his circus troupe's past to restore the troupe to its former glory. Play casually at your own pace, or optimise your route, collecting everything, to earn the best rank possible at the end of each stage.
A new adventure that can be experienced like the legendary classics of the past. Presto! delivers an uncomprising 3D platformer with plenty of collectibles, rewards for high-skill gameplay, and a variety of unique worlds to visit.

Explore - Branch out from a charming and compact hub world into varied, surreal environments that all provide their own set of unique challenges. Find all 5 Memory Cores in each world to open the gateway back home
Rolling Globe - Mount the Rolling Globe at any time to roll down hills, launching off ramps, and bounce around to reach new heights
Collect - Pick up Stars, break them out of containers, and knock them out of enemies
Ranks - Play as skillfully as you can, as quickly as you can, collecting all the Stars and Memory Cores, and tally it all up at the end-of-level ranking system. Can you get all of the illusive 'P' ranks?
Replayability - Didn't get the rank you wanted? Try again and again, optimising your route to your hearts content, discovering new short-cuts and techniques you might not have noticed before
Nostalgic + Modern - Play the game with a classic CRT TV filter with multiple built-in presets, or in full, crisp native resolution... or anything in between

Version 0.2 Update - Music and Sound Effects!
The long-awaited v0.2 update is finally here. Presenting, the first iteration of Presto!'s sound track, plus so much more. Firstly, I want to thank everyone actively waiting for this update for their patience. The implementation of the game's audio extended beyond simply having some music and sound effects, we really wanted this to enhance the experience and bring through the true vision of what Presto! can be as much as we possibly could at this stage of dvelopment! The game's being worked on solely by me, and our composer, so high quality work takes time, especially when it's all handcrafted by humans with no reliance on AI. Composed by my close friend, the music adds a whole new layer of magic and wonder to the game that breathes new life into the game's world. The sound effects are delicately crafted with a fun, musical touch which makes playing the game feel that much more immersive. Now, all of the music and sound effects are just first drafts as this is still an early build of the game, but it does showcase what we envision for the final experience. Note that some sound effects are still placeholder and the playtest demo will be patched with improved ones over time. Alongside the added audio also comes a plethora of gameplay, visual, and functional updates, as well as some bug fixes. Developed over a few months there are too many to name, so I'll give you the TL;DR list below. Thanks again for everyone's continued support and appreciation of Presto! We're excited to see where the game goes now as it enters its next phase of development and marketing, so be sure to join our socials and discord to stay on top of everything Presto! Core Updates:New music, featuring 5 original tracks that have catchy melodies and a unique soundfont specifically designed for Presto! Enjoy listening to the exciting main title theme, a boppin' menu theme, a groovy tutorial theme, a magical theme for Dreamy Castles, and a serene, ethereal track for the end-of-level rankingsNew sound ...Read full article on Community Announcements (Circus Cat Studios)AnnouncementsOfficial

Aaand... Presto! A new game
What? So, here's Presto!, the product of over a year of solo game development that is finally ready get on the main stage and have a spotlight shone on it. Inspired by such classics as Banjo Kazooie, Spyro The Dragon, and, to some extent, the Sonic Adventure games, Presto! attempts to bring back the magic of these childhood classics in an experience that aims to please both retro and modern gamers. Why?Retro-style 3D platformers aren't all too common, and this is a type of game that I've always wanted to make. Now that I have the experience that I need to make this dream come true, I've done exactly that. I know I'm not alone in wishing that there were more games like Presto!, Cavern Of Dreams, and Yooka Laylee out and about, so I went and decided to make one. I'm extremely happy with how the game's already coming along, and the current state of the game is only getting better with each passing day of development. When??The game currently stands on a solid foundation, a 'vertical slice' to put it simply. Very soon (pending the review process), a public Playtest will launch where you will be able to try an early build of the game. The build contains a fully-playable level, a complete tutorial level, and a little interactive title screen area to goof around in. This Playtest will serve the purpose of getting the basic impression of the game, and see if it's something people are happy to see finished, or if it still needs more time in the oven. All feedback will be reviewed and considered, and so your input will be greatly appreciated and impactful. Following the playtest, we plan to launch a Kickstarter campaign! Now, with the foundation of the game already being rather solid, the campaign will mainly focus on gathering development costs so that I can basically finish making the rest of the game. All the core mechanics are in place, there are plenty more mechanics already functioning behind-the-scenes and just waiting to be used in future levels, and I have a pretty e...Read full article on Community Announcements (Circus Cat Studios)
