About this game
You poured your life savings into that glossy brochure promising a "luxury caravan village," expecting a life of leisure. But reality hit hard: the realtor ran off with the cash, leaving you with nothing but a rusted, weed-choked wasteland. Yet, this tragic end is actually the beginning of your new life. Armed with just a suitcase and your grandmother’s legendary recipe book, you set out to start from scratch.
Can you learn to live off the land and turn this scrapyard into a thriving sanctuary? It won't be easy. The land is neglected, the locals are wary, and the pages of your grandma's cookbook are missing. But the valley seems full of opportunity. With a little dedication, some creativity, and plenty of delicious food, you might just be the one to restore Caravan Village to greatness!

Title: v0.2.0 — Big Fix Update: Trees Give Wood, Quests Unstuck, Smoother Perfor
Hey everyone, This update is built almost entirely from your feedback — forum posts, reviews and bug reports. Some of these were serious issues that blocked progress, and I'm sorry it took a while to track them down. Here's everything that changed. 🪓 The big one: trees now actually give wood If you started a new game and found every tree in the forest was an unchoppable sapling — that was a bug, not design. World-placed trees were incorrectly starting their growth cycle on day one, so the entire forest was "too young" to harvest and the axe uprooted trees instead of felling them. Fixed: forest trees are fully grown from day one and drop wood as they should. Saplings you plant yourself still grow over time, as intended. A related co-op issue where resource drops could get lost is fixed too. 📜 Quest & progression fixes The full 50-quest main story has been tested end to end and completes without a single stuck step: Gift quests now count — the item was being consumed without the counter ever moving. Mine quests now advance correctly when you enter the mine. If you're currently stuck on one, loading your save and entering the mine once will unstick it. Friendship (hearts) quests are now tracked live, however you earned the hearts. Smelting quests count now, including overnight batches. Handing an ordered item to a villager now completes the delivery instead of being swallowed as a gift. If you don't have enough yet, the game tells you how many are needed and keeps your items. 🔧 Bug fixes from your reports Furnace: only the gold recipe worked; copper, iron and palladium always said "not enough materials". The recipe data was malformed — all four now work (and gold no longer smelts from a single ore, that was a bug too). Mine elevator: floors 80/90 couldn't be selected because the panel overflowed the screen. The list now scrolls and works with a controller. Greenhouse: seeds planted inside vanished on the next day. The save system was only recording farmland from the ma...Read full article on Community Announcements (Corvantia Interactive)Patch NotesOfficial
A Massive Apology & Huge Update: 12 Neighbors, Co-Op & Greenhouses! 🛠️
A Massive Apology and a Huge Update! 🛠️🏡📖Hi everyone. First of all, I want to sincerely apologize for releasing this update a bit later than you might have expected. There is a very important reason for this delay, and I want to be completely transparent with you.I am fully aware of the massive refund rates during the game's launch days. Nearly half of the people who bought the game refunded it... And to be completely honest? They are absolutely right. Even though I released the game in Early Access, the initial version was unfortunately very empty in terms of content and felt more like a buggy demo. This is my first game development experience, I am learning everything on my own through trial and error, and I take full responsibility for that rushed, incomplete release.I apologize to everyone who refunded for the disappointment. But to everyone who kept the game in their library, didn't refund, and trusted me enough to wait: Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Thanks to your support, I've been working day and night without sleep to fix all the core issues of the game from the ground up.Now, let's get into the massive additions that will completely cure that "empty" feeling.\\🌱 New Farming Mechanics: Greenhouses and SprinklersFarm life just got a whole lot easier! You can now build Greenhouses to safely grow your crops across all four seasons, and install automatic Sprinkler systems to save you from the exhausting chore of watering every single tile every morning.🧱 Decorate Your Park: Floor Tiles & PathsWant to make your caravan park look like a true luxury resort? You can now craft and place various floor tiles (wood, stone, brick, and more!) on the ground. Build beautiful walkways between your caravans, create cozy patios for your guests, and design the park exactly how you envision it. Time to unleash your inner landscape designer!A Handy New Tool: The RopeDon't like your park layout? No need to pack up and rebuild anymore. Tie a rope to a caravan and drag it ...Read full article on Community Announcements (Corvantia Interactive)Patch NotesOfficial
2 - The Big Update is Live! (And a huge apology for the delay) 🛠️
2- The Freeze Is Fixed — Big Stability Update (and an apology) Hey everyone, I'm late. I promised this update by the weekend and it took me almost a week longer. I'm genuinely embarrassed about missing my own deadline, so before anything else: I'm sorry for keeping you waiting. I also want to be straight with you about the launch. A lot of you refunded the game — roughly one in four — and honestly, you were right to. Between the freeze and everything else, what I shipped felt more like a demo than an Early Access game. This is my first game, I'm still learning, and the messy launch is on me and nobody else. To everyone who refunded: I get it, and I'm sorry I let you down. To everyone who stayed and trusted me: thank you, from the bottom of my heart. You're the reason I've barely left my desk since launch day. **So what took so long?** When your reports started pouring in, I realized the problem wasn't just a few bugs. Some of the game's core structure was built wrong from day one, and that was the real source of the stuttering, the lag, and the infamous freeze. Patching over it wasn't going to cut it, so I tore it out and rebuilt it properly. That's what ate the extra days. The good news: the game finally runs smooth as butter, and Steam Deck support now has a real foundation under it instead of duct tape. **What's fixed in this update:** - **The freeze.** The bug that locked the game when closing the tablet or certain menus is fixed at the root. - **A safety net, just in case.** I also added an automatic recovery system. If the game ever gets stuck in a frozen state again, it detects it and unfreezes itself within seconds instead of locking up forever — and it logs what happened so I can hunt down the cause. - **The empty forest.** Trees, rocks, enemies and forageables spawn correctly again. If your save was hit by this at launch, it will repair itself the next time you load it. No new game needed. - **Farming:** crops no longer vanish overnight, and the tiles that...Read full article on Community Announcements (Corvantia Interactive)Patch NotesOfficial

🌾 Caravan Village: Farming Life — Hotfix Update
Hey everyone! 💛 Solo dev here. First off, for everyone asking about Steam Deck and controller support — it's almost ready, and I'm aiming to ship it in the very next update (likely tomorrow!). Full gamepad controls and Deck-friendly improvements are on the way, so hang tight. 🎮 In the meantime, here's today's patch fixing a bunch of the issues you reported. Thank you so much for the detailed feedback — it genuinely shapes the game. Keep it coming! 🐛 Bug Fixes Fixed a freeze when opening the menu. A background process was firing on every object spawn, which could lock up the game and also caused general stutter. It's now tied to scene changes only — a big stability and performance win. Fixed rain falling inside buildings and the screen darkening indoors. Interiors (including the chicken coop) are now detected correctly. Fixed the character randomly turning around while chopping. Your facing direction now stays locked during a chopping streak. Fixed "the screen going crazy" / uncontrolled camera movement for players with a controller, racing wheel, or joystick plugged in. Phantom stick input is no longer read. Fixed the second mini-game kiosk not responding to "E". The prompt now matches the actual interaction — you can use it by pressing E or by clicking. Fixed workbench crafting not counting toward the main story quest (the "craft an item" quest no longer gets stuck). ✨ Improvements & New Options New tabbed Settings menu (Display / Audio / Game) — cleaner and easier to navigate. Added a UI Scale slider (Settings → Display). Much better readability, especially on Steam Deck and for small text. Added a Weather Effects Intensity slider (Settings → Game), and toned down heavy rain by default to reduce motion sickness. Time now pauses while menus and notes are open (single-player). Increased tree & resource density/respawn across the world. Added a 🌱 marker over growing saplings so you don't accidentally clear them before they mature — this is also why some of you felt t...Read full article on Community Announcements (Corvantia Interactive)
