In ZeroPrompt, you navigate the final clean network as an internet moderator, using tools to detect deception and save humanity. Every verdict shapes the future in this unique simulation where NPCs run on local LLMs.

About this game

In ZeroPrompt, you are a Verification Operator for the Megacorp called Syndicate. Your job is simple: verify accounts and control who gets to exist on the internet.

The internet is drowned in spam, ads, and AI-slop garbage. Syndicate is trying to clean the internet. As an Operator, you stand at the gate. Ban AIs, restore access to humans, and keep the network clean.

Engage with hand-crafted NPCs that are driven by live LLMs.Use investigation tools, logical traps, and document analysis to separate humans from machines. Deal with panicked refugees, corporate spies, or malfunctioning bots that argue, plead, and deceive.

Ask questions and analyze responses for machine-like patterns. Cross-reference documents, trace IPs, and search for inconsistencies. Accept humans, decline suspicious cases, or terminate confirmed AI threats.

100% Local. 100% Private.

  • All AI models run locally on your machine. No cloud, no lag, no data collection.

  • Your conversations never leave your device.

  • No internet required after download.

  • Requires 6GB VRAM.

Major Playtest Update: Video Calls are LIVE!

Hello hello hello!I’ve been heads-down coding for the past couple of weeks, but I am super excited to finally push this new playtest update to you all.The main thing I’ve been focusing on is the new Video Call System. I wanted to make the world feel a lot more alive, so your daily routine is about to get a little more chaotic. While you're working, you will occasionally get calls from a bunch of different people. Your supervisors, other Syndicate workers, sketchy hackers, and subjects who are in desperate situations.Thank you guys so much for testing these builds and giving me such great feedback. We're right around the corner from the Social Deduction Fest, so I’d love to see what kind of wild conversations you end up having with the new system.Update your game, jump into your shift, and let me know what you think!

Devlog #2 : Adding Video Calls

Hello everyone! This week, I've started implementing the Video Call System for ZeroPrompt. You'll now receive incoming calls from supervisors, colleagues, and desperate subjects throughout your shift. These interactions force critical narrative decisions and you have the freedom to type your responses. Your responses will shape the outcome of every high-stakes conversation. These interactions are designed to force critical narrative decisions under pressure. Depending on the gravity of the situation, you’ll either navigate branching dialogue choices or have the freedom to type your own custom responses, directly influencing the fate of the network and the people trapped on the other side of your screen.I also developed a custom ascii engine for this game. It uses 3 different modes that can change between dither blocks(like in the image), 0-1 characters and ascii characters. I will mainly be using dither blocks for all NPCs and any visual that players might see.

Devlog #1: From Virtual to Physical, New Desktop Mechanics

Hi everyone!I’m starting this devlog to keep you all in the loop whenever there’s a major update. The last two weeks have been a total whirlwind. We officially announced ZeroPrompt at InterfaceX, and seeing so many people experience it for the first time was incredible. The best part? The event helped us blast past 500+ wishlists, which is a huge milestone for the project.Making the Desktop More TactileI’ve been focusing on making the workstation feel more physical and "real." Instead of just clicking menus, you’ll now interact with a USB Hub and Manual Paper Documents. You can manually drag, eject, and sync USB sticks with your final verdicts, or pull up the dedicated tray to flip through physical documentation. It adds a much-needed layer of weight to the decisions you're making.Polish and ImmersionI’m still prioritizing the overall vibe and "feel" of the game. The Dolores Avatar has been updated with refined sprite animations and better narration handling to make her feel like a more natural part of the world. What's Next?Get ready! Playtests are opening up very soon! Keep an eye out for the announcement so you can jump in and help me break things.
