About this game
Corner Arcade is an idle management sim, in which you get to build and run your own arcade empire, while having the freedom to unwind with a movie, catch up on some work, hang out with friends or even just be immersed in the buzz of your own arcade. Whether you’ve got the corner of a screen free, or a whole second monitor to spare, we’ve got you covered. Whether you want to stretch the definition of multi-tasking, or just feel like unwinding with the company of your arcade, Corner Arcade is waiting for you.
Build your arcade:
In Corner Arcade, you build your arcade, your way. Fancy a wild arcade jungle where you swing from one game to another; make it so. Feel like a more structured arcade with curated zones, so gamers can find their games and make camp; go for it.
Arcade Machines:
At the core of any arcade is of course the games! Buy, upgrade and research arcade machines that will attract the best guests to your arcade! From classic arcade games in retro cabinets to beat-thumping dance machines to work up a sweat, from good ol’ skeeball machines for those with a skilled hand to huge LAN desks, where parties can game the night away, and so much more. Corner Arcade gives you the options to run the arcade you want!
Fine tuning those upgrades:
Once you own a machine the fun does not stop there. Now you can tinker and upgrade it to help bring you in more quarters, more quickly. You can increase the quarters per play or decrease the play time, or both! Upgrade it to store more quarters, so you can be less hands on, and add more duct tape to keep it running longer! And don’t forget to upgrade the contents of the game to draw in the best gamers around!
VIPs in the house!
While all gamers are welcome, some are more welcome than others. It’s not just about those who shower, though hygienic visitors are always preferred! Some gamers have deeper pockets, will play longer, and set higher scores, and they are worth their weight in quarters, if you can draw them in of course!
Some work required:
While it’s not all fun and games, you have to keep the arcade running, and those quarters won’t empty themselves… at least not yet. But if you keep expanding your arcade, and researching away, who knows what you might unlock…
Arcade Life:
Don’t forget to kickback and soak in the buzz of the arcade from time to time. You built the arcade, you may as well watch people enjoying it! Also why stop at just one arcade, this game was built for the multi-taskers, “If one is good, then more must be better!”, right…

Bug Fix - Black screen on game start up
Hey All Hope you are enjoying the game! Some lovely folks brought to my attention an issue causing the game to not run and just go black after the splash screen! This should now be fixed! Sorry to anyone who was experiencing it. Next Fest! It's finally here! Yay, Next Fest is here, let the gaming begin! I hope you all have a wonderful Next Fest and enjoy some great games from my fellow devs! Corner Arcade Playtest!
I am super excited to open up the Corner Arcade Playtest! I have had a blast working hard on this (I love GameDev), and I am super excited to have folks playing it! Some backstory…Corner Arcade started because a friend suggested I make an idle game. I was cautious at first, as a dev I always want to put out projects that really inspire me to create, so I knew I had to test the waters and see if any ideas bit. And they did. A few actually. Ironically while I was enjoying Corner Pond! (genuinely). I have always loved management sims, ever since I first played Theme Hospital back in the day! And while I enjoyed the career modes and level goals, my favourite part was just running the hospital/themepark/zoo/etc. With that thought, I had found my idea and my inspiration! I really hope you enjoy the Corner Arcade Playtest and it draws you in, as any good “arcade” game should! If it seems like a game you could really enjoy, I would really, really, really appreciate you wishlisting the game! It really helps solo developers like me! Thanks!
