Join forces or betray each other in Double Dealers, an Indie Strategy game where trust is as fragile as the truth. Outmaneuver your opponents through clever bluffing and risky trades in this early access experience.
About this game

Step into a 3 to 6 player trading game built on bluffing, manipulation, and social strategy. Every round, one player becomes the seller and only they know the full truth about what they are offering.
Each player starts with three items and must choose one to auction.
The seller can see the item’s real market value along with two hidden Clauses attached to it.
The buyers cannot.
Is it a bargain?
Or a disaster waiting to explode?
Through real-time negotiation, players pressure, bluff, and outbid each other in fast-paced auctions. When the timer ends, the item is sold and the truth is revealed.
Every item comes with two randomized Clauses.
They might be beneficial.
They might be harmful.
They might completely shift the balance of power.
Clauses can reward bold plays or create unexpected consequences, turning what looked like a perfect deal into a costly mistake.
No two auctions feel the same.
After each player has taken their turn as seller, the game moves into the Market phase.
Here, players decide whether to sell immediately for secure profit or hold onto items for potential bonuses. Timing, greed, and risk management all matter.
Fortunes can rise or collapse in seconds.
During the Market phase, players may choose to invest in powerful Cards.
Cards allow you to shape the game in your favor, strengthen your own position, or disrupt your opponents. Use them wisely to gain long-term advantages or create critical turning points.
The system is optional, but the strategic depth it adds can change everything.
This is not just about numbers.
It is about reading the room.
Convince others your item is priceless.
Hide dangerous risks behind confidence.
Form temporary alliances.
Break them when it benefits you.
Designed for chaotic friend groups and intense mind games.

Demo v0.1.6 Released
Based on your feedback, we have implemented a series of balancing adjustments and bug fixes:The "Robin Hood" card now steals $250 from the opponent instead of $500, and its price has been reduced to $100.The starting cash given to each player has been increased from $1,000 to $2,000.Previously, punches thrown during boxing matches landed directly in the center of where the player was looking, regardless of the punch animation. We have changed this so that punch hit detection is now based exactly on the hands animation's position. In short, your punches will now be much more accurate to what you see. (Boxing matches are still not in their final form, so you may still experience latency between players depending on your internet connection.)We have fixed an issue where players were being thrown out of the ring during or after boxing matches, allowing them to roam freely or causing them to get stuck. We added an information panel that specifies the reason if a player disconnects. We added a confirmation prompt to the "Main Menu" and "Quit" buttons to prevent accidental clicks, which we received many complaints about. We have also fixed many other minor and major issues. However, you may still experience random player disconnections. We are working very hard on this, but if you are still encountering this issue, please follow the instructions in the link provided below after exiting the game and send us your .log files. This will make it much easier for us to pinpoint and resolve the problem. Thank you for your continued interest in Double Dealers! We Need Your Help
We have been receiving a lot of feedback regarding random disconnects or crashes while playing the Double Dealers Demo, and we are working with all our might to resolve this. However, to pinpoint the exact cause of the issue, we need the .log files that help us identify where things are going wrong. Therefore, if you encounter this problem, we kindly ask you to send us the "Player.log" and "Player-prev.log" files (or the text inside them) from the file path below after exiting the game. You can share them with us through whichever method you prefer, and please rest assured that this data will only be used to diagnose the issue: C:\\Users\\YourUsername\\AppData\\LocalLow\\MiklagardStudios\\Double Dealers - Demo Note: You need to replace the "YourUsername" part with your own PC's username. Also, if your computer's system language is not English, you should replace the "Users" folder name with its equivalent in your local language. You can send these files in any format you like. Since these files may contain personal information such as your computer's username, we highly recommend that you do not share them in public spaces.
