Basilisk's Isles - Demo Patch Notes

Hello!Thank you for keeping an eye on our game :) !We have fixed some issues in the demo. We still have some work to do, but this first update should improve the experience! What changed? The Settings are now accessible from the Main MenuDebug shortcuts are now removed (oops)The game is now always displayed in 1920x1080p (it should prevent the game's UI from displaying incorrectly on certain devices). The demo ends more smoothly, try to talk with the Priestess at the altar again! The camera during the dialogues is closer to the characters now :) ❤️We know it is a really small update, but we wanted to at least fix the Settings issue and the abrupt end of the demo quickly. What's Next:The game will notify players about the auto-save system at the launch of the game We will update the warning screen to make it more accessibleWe will fix some character animation issuesWe know the game also needs optimization, we're currently working on it but we can't promise it will be done by the next update. Thank you for following our adventure, and please don't hesitate leaving us feedbacks in the community tab or a review on the demo store page. It helps us a lot 🧡!Have a great day 🌼-Patopesto Team

    Thanks for playing the demo!

Hello!First of all, thanks for testing the demo of our game! It really is a big milestone for us to share our project with the players, the team is happy to see people enjoy our little island and its characters.Concerning the issuesWe're aware of the issues players can encounter during their playthrough and we're working on it. Here's a list of what we've gathered so far from the reviews and our own playtests:"The settings button doesn't work in the main menu of the game." (sorry)This is the FIRST issue we're going to fix (that's why it is the first in the list here). We're sorry about that. It was an issue we noticed a while ago but didn't fix, since we're working on the game during our free time."The game has some performance issues and lags on my computer."Yes, it's something we need to work on. It will probably take some time to fix since we're still searching for solutions. The characters having choppy animations is a stylistic choice, however, the camera lagging and computer explosion aren't haha."The game might have some weird format issues on screens that aren't 1920x1080 (especially in the credits)."We're going to make an update first to force the game in this exact screen ratio. Then, we'll work on a better solution for other screen formats."The OK button on the photosensitivity screen is unclickable."It's going to be fixed asap too."The tutorial videos don't work."We're working on a solution. It might be linked to the performance issues of the game."The tutorial doesn't introduce the map window and the teleport system."True! We're working on it, we made the game design elements for it, we just need to add them to the game."The priestess can walk away during dialogues."We're going to work on the animation system, it should probably fix this issue."NPCs accept certain words as a response when clearly something else was intended."This issue cannot be fixed fast. Since our typing system accepts typos, very short words like "nun" and "sun" can be mixed up. It ...
