Balls challenges you to build explosive combos in a unique deck-building experience. Experience the thrill of creating powerful chains in this 2026 release from Brown Shark Games.
About this game
balls is a chain reaction game with deck-building mechanics in which you embrace chance and chaos to hit the ever-increasing target score. Start with a small explosion and watch how the reaction extends!
A casual roguelite: the game can be played in short runs and does not require a lot of focus.
A deck-building game without a deck: the randomness and chaos of the game is directly derived from the bounciness of balls in screen. No decks, no shuffling!
Build the perfect combo machine: combine powerful special balls to try and build the perfect combo. Use spawner balls to add more balls to the field, power-up balls to buff nearby balls, or build-up balls that get more powerful the longer the chain reaction goes.

balls 1.1.0: The Staballity Update
Howdy! I hope you enjoyed playing balls as much as I enjoyed making it. Today I'm happy to release the update 1.1.0: The Staballity Update!!! This update comes with a ton of stability fixes to the game which should make the experience smoother! Here's what's new: New features and updates: - Added scientific notation for high scores and guards against Very Large Numbers, as some players got scores so high that they went negative. - Minor performance improvements coming from better handling the lifetime of temporary objects on screen. Bug fixes: - Do not crash the game when restarting a game when a Fire ball had not exploded in the previous one. - Greatly reduce occurrences "stuck explosions", a bug in which explosions would stay stuck in the screen for a long time. - Greatly reduce occurrences of negative triggered ball counts which sometimes caused rounds to get stuck. - Fix the Auto ball collecting coins but not removing them from the screen. - Fix the Slime and Recursive balls: do not respawn the recursive ball copies nor the split of slimes, to prevent an explosion of balls in the screen. - Fix balls becoming invisible when the Wiggliness slider was set to 0. - Fix a bug in which the game showed "Unlocked new balls" when there are no more to unlock.Read full article on Community Announcements (afiol.agb)Patch NotesOfficial

Here are the changes: - fix an issue where Eight balls would sometimes explode twice - fix an issue where the Wish select did not keep its focus when playing with a controller - fix an issue where balls' prices would scale faster than they should across games - fix an issue where the game would freeze and not advance to the next round (now it should be possible to get unstuck by just clicking)Read full article on Community Announcements (afiol.agb)Patch NotesOfficial

Hotfix 1.0.2
Howdy! The first hotfix for balls includes the following: - fix an issue in which effect volume was not persisted after closing the game. - nerf Spawner balls and Spawner ball spawner balls by setting a hard limit on how many balls can be spawned, as some players reported getting stuck in infinite loops of spawning balls (oops). - nerf the Extra click ball by making it scale in price after buying it. - fix an issue in which respawn timers kept running even when the game was paused. - add a round timer of 60s after clicking, after which balls will stop respawning. This is to prevent games getting stuck in endless loops if something goes wrong. I hope you have fun and thank you for playing balls! 🐕Read full article on Community Announcements (afiol.agb)
