About this game
Co-op that is funny and tense
It's a game about teamwork, chaos, shouting in voice chat, and shared failures. One wrong move and the whole team pays for it. But when everything clicks, the feeling of "we did this together" is hard to beat.
Build by the laws of physics
Every object has weight and inertia and affects the stability of the structure. Mistakes are not forgiven. An overloaded support, bad balance, or a rushed decision – and everything falls apart. Physics is not decoration here. It is the main judge. When your construction holds, the victory feels truly earned.
Personal construction gadgets
Gravity gun, foam gun, jetpack, and other tools. Every player has a role on the site. Move across the structure, throw parts, create temporary supports, and hold it all together at the last second. Team coordination decides everything.
With great power comes great responsibility
Take control of massive construction machines. A gravity tank, a giant shredder bulldozer, or a levitating platform. Lift entire building sections, recycle debris, hold the structure together, and deal with threats right in the middle of the disaster.
Different locations. Completely different challenges
Every location is a new scenario with its own objective, its own rules, and its own way to fail. The tools stay the same. The teamwork stays the same. Everything else changes.
Cataclysms as a test for your build
The disaster is not a cutscene. It is an active stress test for everything your team has built. Every location has its own brand of chaos – a meteor shower, or something worse. Reinforce weak spots on the fly, react fast, and keep it all together under pressure. The chaos quickly shows who can actually build.

Mission #2: Shield Breaker Is Now Available in the Salvation Denied Demo
The Salvation Denied demo has just expanded with a brand-new mission: Shield Breaker. In Signal To Orbit (the first mission), your job was simple enough: build a tower, activate the signal, and try not to watch the whole thing collapse under a meteor shower. This time, things are a little different. You’re not here to build a tower, you’re here to destroy one. Break Through the Shield In Shield Breaker, you’ll face a heavily protected defense system built around powerful static fields. Somewhere beyond the barrier, enemy towers are waiting to be brought down. Luckily, you have a cannon that is perfect for the job! Unluckily, the cannon is not exactly ready to fire, the ammo has not quite arrived…yet. So before you can start blasting anything, you’ll need to transport massive damper cores (the ammo) across the playing field and load them into the cannon, that is where the real problem begins and the game starts! The Gravity Gun Won’t Do Everything Damper cores are not regular construction blocks; they are heavy, awkward, and pretty hard to move using the Gravity Gun beams. All this means that you won't be able to simply pick them up (with the Gravity Gun) and place them wherever you want. Instead, you’ll need to think a little more carefully. Bridges and chutes will be extremely valuable. Leveling your supports will be even more important. And the impulse pushes will become the main way to move the core, but you'll need to be careful as you won't want to send your precious ammo flying into lava! Once a damper core is loaded into the cannon, you can fire it at the enemy towers and start tearing down the main barrier. All in all, there are three towers to destroy so you'll need to make every shot count! Summary of What’s New This mission introduces a new type of challenge for the demo, with a stronger focus on transporting heavy objects, building stable routes, and solving problems with momentum and supports. Shield Breaker includes: A new playable location with deadly...Read full article on Community Announcements (Digital Vortex Entertainment)AnnouncementsOfficial
Demo Out Now
The Salvation Denied demo will be available on Steam from today, so prepare yourself for chaotic fun as you set out to build your tower and activate the signal. Just watch out for meteor showers, as they have a bad habit of hitting tall objects! This demo includes the reworked first mission, Signal To Orbit, with updated objectives, improved pacing during meteor shower events, visual improvements to the location, and reduced height requirements for unlocking equipment. https://store.steampowered.com/app/4193590/Salvation_Denied/ We've also made a large number of improvements to the game based on feedback that we got from the previous playtest: Performance optimizations across all maps Stability improvements for lower-end, mid-range, and high-end systems Fixes for vehicle behaviour, camera issues, gamepad menu navigation, and many other bugs Reworked Gravity Gun controls Improved object precision and object rotation Toggle and hold interaction modes Key rebinding Gamepad support Updated characters, animations, vehicles, gadgets, construction blocks, and interior objects But that’s not all. On June 11, the demo will expand with a second mission: Shield Breaker, where you’ll be tasked with destroying towers! More information on this new mode will be shared later! {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/46052368/1b3c3b9abf53e115521824a1b35fd2e7ce957890.jpg Feedback and Bugs When it comes to feedback, you can either let us know in these places: Directly here on Steam (in the discussion boards), Via this feedback form: https://forms.gle/FUbLuLuL9BpEMk5j9 Or through our Discord server: https://discord.gg/salvdeniedgame Have a conversation regarding your idea in the #general channel or add it to the #feedback channel; we’ll be watching both places! For bugs, it’s almost the same: Steam discussions and Discord remain the same (though we’d ask you to report the bugs in the #feedback channel), but we also have a dedicated form for the worst of bugs (think game-breaking bugs): https://forms.gle/Q7G...Read full article on Community Announcements (Digital Vortex Entertainment)AnnouncementsOfficial
Salvation Denied: What Kind of Game Is It?
Since revealing Salvation Denied, one of the biggest questions we’ve seen is a simple one: What do you actually do in the game? The short answer is: you build - but that is only part of it. At its core, Salvation Denied is a co-op physics building game. You can play solo, but the game is built around teamwork, pressure, and shared problem-solving (so by playing solo, you do miss out on a lot of the fun). We are not trying to make a calm, optimization-heavy builder where everything goes according to plan. Instead, sessions are designed to be shorter, more intense, and a lot more chaotic. Things are very likely going to go wrong, that's something that you'll just need to live with! Put together, this makes communication, improvisation, and learning how to recover together (as a team) matter far more than perfect planning. Missions Missions are built around different scenarios, each with its own challenges. Some examples include: Tower Construction - the most straightforward scenario, and a good place to learn the basics Lava Bridge - build across a volcanic canyon while dealing with constant danger from below. Deep Escape - start at the bottom and build upward before a corrosive fog catches up with you. Acid Rain Zone - the environment slowly destroys your Foam (the material that binds your objects together, think of it like cement/concrete), forcing repairs and smarter building decisions. Mountain Peak Tower - limited space, strong winds, freezing temperatures, and low visibility make this a heavily environment-influenced mission. Looking ahead, we are also planning additional content and modes, including: Challenge Mode Sandbox Mode Seasonal/Event Modes Experimental Competitive Modes Chaotic, but not random Another big question we see is whether the game is just pure chaos, or whether there is actual skill involved. The answer is that it's a mix of both. There is a lot of chaos by design. The physics system (more on that in the building depth question), the environm...Read full article on Community Announcements (Digital Vortex Entertainment)AnnouncementsOfficial
