Manage resources and workers to expand your realm in NEED: No End, a 2026 strategy experience where every choice matters. Trade and adapt to survive threats and hunger.
About this game
The realm feels peaceful at first—soft wind, pale light, a quiet promise of safety.
But the moment you begin, that calm unravels. The clock wakes, pressure rises, and every decision becomes a weight that shapes your survival.
NEED is a strategic, pressure-driven survival management game built on tightly woven, multi-layered automation systems.
Build, upgrade, and sustain production loops. Assign workers, manage resources and decay, greet traders, fight smugglers, train Maesters, and hold the realm together as everything slowly strains against you.
It asks for calm focus in moments of chaos, and fast thinking when hesitation becomes a mistake.
Adapt—or collapse.
A REALM THAT BREATHES WITH YOU
The realm shifts between heavy, shadowed moments and brief, fragile warmth.
Its music moves with it—sometimes distant and hollow, sometimes gentle and reassuring.
It doesn’t command your attention; it simply settles around you, setting the tone for every choice you make.
HOW YOU SURVIVE
You begin with only a handful of resources.
Assign workers to your early structures—Wheat, Mill, Bakery, Well, Forest, Quarry—and build the production loops that will keep you alive.
Upgrade, expand, and stabilize before decay takes hold.
The Silo and KeepHut become your lifeline: Gatherers collecting Stacks and Keepers preventing collapse, repairing your fragile structures and holding them together.
Traders bring opportunity—missions, bargains, and long-term bonds—while the Trap and its supply of Meat give you the Coins you need.
But where traders wander, smugglers follow. Build and upgrade the Tower, reinforce it under attack, or step in yourself when the realm is threatened.
And as your systems grow, the Maester’s Hall opens its doors.
Here, Maester Workers rise—specialists who elevate your loops, lighten your workforce, and push your realm toward self-sustaining balance.
NEED’s FEATURES - Woven Into the Experience
Interconnected stations, each contributing to a greater whole.
A decay system that never rests.
Workers, Keepers, Gatherers, and Maesters forming a living, layered ecosystem.
Automation loops that blossom as your realm grows.
Trading paths shaped by trust.
Pressure that strikes the moment you become comfortable.
NEED is not only about lasting—it's about mastering the flow.
Every second is something you earn. Every mistake echoes.
What do you do when the entire realm needs something from you?
In the end, the realm remembers only one thing: how long you kept it alive, how long you kept it in need.

NEED: No End v1.2 - Update
This update is built around one idea - giving the player more information about the realm, more options and features without breaking the flow of the experience. New Side Panel - Three Buttons, One Place The Realm Sustainability button has been replaced by a new side panel with three dedicated buttons. Each one opens a focused view of the realm without leaving the game. Let's take a look at each of the three new buttons: 1. REALM INFO is the place where you can visualize workers and population details, production output speed and stations integrity, all under a centralized place. Here are the tabs you will find under Realm Info button: Assigned Workers This tab displays Housing Capacity, Available Workers and Assigned Workers at a glance, with each station listed showing its current worker assignment across the entire realm. Production Speed Under this tab each station is displayed with its output progress bar and remaining seconds until the next production tick. Know what is producing, and how fast, without clicking through every structure. Decay Mitigation In this tab you can monitor each station's current Integrity and Decay Rate in a single view. Completing the Decay Mitigation objective for the Realm Sustainability got easier to follow. 2. STATUS Here is where the Realm Sustainability tracking panel lives and can be accessed now. The Status button opens the Realm Sustainability panel, tracking all conditions towards self-sustainability objectives in real time. 3. CODEX Whether you have questions or just curious about how everything works in a more detailed fashion, the Codex is more accessible now. Codex button opens the Codex directly from the game UI and pauses the game so anyone can take their time to read those tricky mechanics. When done reading, just close and continue the game. Codex can still be found in Pause Menu or Main menu under Options tab, where it was originally found before. Navigation Right mouse button click and drag now moves the realm. Realm Info Panel and UI Update
Reading the realm just got easier. This update brings two new visibility tools designed to support information that was always present in the game but required navigation to find. Now you have it at a press of a button. Realm Sustainability Info PanelA new panel accessible from the bottom left of the screen gives a broader view of realm sustainability. It tracks seven parameters in real time:Decay Mitigation - protection against decay across all structures, managed at Silo and KeepHut.Active Stations - how many structures are actively producingEngineering - upgrades and repairs across all structuresResource Demand - active resource production versus demandBread Demand - bread production against population consumptionDefense - realm protection against smuggler attacksWeather Protection - Bell tribute streak and weather protection across affected structuresEach parameter has a tooltip explaining what it tracks and what it means. Together they give a clear picture of where the realm stands against the win conditions at any moment. Any action and decision you take in the game count towards the realm's sustainability. It is easier now to balance, track progression and win the run. Integrity and Decay Rate PanelEach core station now displays its current Integrity and Decay Rate directly in the station panel. No need to navigate to the KeepHut or cross-reference worker assignments to check station health. The values update in real time as the realm changes. Also in this updateMinor fixes and overall stability improvements. The realm has always been telling you what it needs. Now it is a little easier to hear it. May your realms stay thriving and your mind stay sharp.Read full article on Community Announcements (Popcorn Forge)AnnouncementsOfficial
