About this game

Bit Breaker is a short brick-breaking incremental bullet hell. Collect resources to upgrade your balls and fight back against the nodes taking over humanity.

DESTROY NODES

Break the nodes down one by one by throwing balls in their direction. There are over 10 unique enemies, each with their own method of attacking you.

BOSS FIGHTS

At the end of every level is a unique boss, bringing unique attacks and giving a taste of the nodes to come later. These give precious rewards upon defeat.

ENHANCE YOUR BALLS

The skill tree offers a wide variety of upgrades to both your balls and you ship, from basic stat increases to entirely new ways of attacking. Buy upgrades to get stronger to collect more resources to buy upgrades to get stronger to collect more resources to...

IMPROVE YOUR OWN SKILLS

While upgrades can make even the toughest bosses trivial, it's imperative that you learn to dodge through enemy attacks if you want to take home more resources. Early levels might be easy enough, but don't become complacent or else the bullet hell will consume you.

GAMEPLAY FEATURES

  • 2-4 hours of satisfying incremental progression.

  • 15 levels of increasing difficulty.

  • Unlock over 120 new skills by collecting resources from destroyed nodes.

Swap Bots - New Game Announcement

Hey there!I am very excited to announce that we have a new game in the works! While putting together the finishing touches to Bit Breaker, I started development on a new deck-building auto-battler inspired by Kabuto Park. It's been a much more intense development experience, especially since I've had to juggle both games at the same time to some degree. If you've played my previous games, it should be instantly obvious that the art for this game is heaps better than it was previously. I now have a dev partner, Lorelai, who has been working on the art for Swap Bots. That, combined with the additional experience I now have from previous games, has led to this being, in my opinion, a much better game overall. We still have a long way to go before considering the game done, but it should be releasing this year. With this being said, I will continue to fix bugs for Bit Breaker whenever someone finds one. I read all reviews and in-game feedback regularly, so please let me know what you find!Have a good one!Chris

    Major Bug Fix - v.0.6.5

Hey there!Just wanted to post a quick update for those who have already played the demo. I would like to deeply apologise for the state of the build for the past few days; I tried to fix a different bug related to beating the demo and made it so every win or loss in a level would end with the game freezing, and I never found it in testing. This has been fixed, and the full demo is now available to play all the way through.Sorry for any inconveniences, but I hope you will continue to enjoy the Bit Breaker demo, and please feel free to send me any feedback or bug reports.Have a good one,Chris
