...OR IS IT STILL "WHO"?

...
"BLOK 200: Prologue" is an atmospheric visual novel with elements of psychological horror and surrealism, set in the universe of the Samosbor.
You are an impossible creature without a pulse or breath, but for some reason you are still alive. You awoke to another Samosbor in a stranger's hab-cell on one of the thousands of floors of the 200th Gigablock. It is also called Gigablock 2-00-TsKG-541. Your old life: your best friend, your technical college, your dreams and aspirations – was left behind somewhere in the quiet incubator block.
You will have to let go of the past, accept this sad present and understand who you are now. And also prepare to search for the one who came to you in a fantastic dream before your awakening.
The game focuses on:
narrative and atmosphere;
character psychology and personal stories;
uncovering the lore of the 200th Gigablock and the Gigakhrush itself.
Gameplay:
reading a branching narrative and dialogue-driven story;
making choices that influence the course of events and the ending;
an in-game interactive encyclopedia (Gigapedia) for deeper exploration of the world.
Features:
a dark post-Soviet cyberpunk setting in the megastructure;
an original world that exists within the established Samosbor canon while revealing it from new and unexpected perspectives;
an authentic diegetic retro-styled interface;
literally every player action has an impact on the plot;
multiple endings depending on what the protagonist ultimately becomes.
Playtime:
average playtime: 2-3 hours (depending on the choices made during the playthrough).
All citizens of the Gigablock who have added the game to their wishlist are entitled to priority in the queue for skip-the-line delivery of protein concentrate!

The Demo is here!
Attention, comrades!You’ve probably already noticed, but just in case: the demo is now available! For everybody, free, and no one will go away unsatisfied!Please note: Currently, the demo is only available in Russian. English localization will be added after the full-game release!On behalf of the entire Gigablock, huge thanks to our beta testers for their feedback, suggestions, and bug reports. Love and hugs to each and every one of you! That said, I’m not stopping anytime soon—work on the full game is in full swing. Honestly, maybe even too full swing. Because of that, updating the demo might get a bit tricky since I’ve already overhauled a ton of the code and architecture... which all needs to be relentlessly tested all over again.But those are future-me problems! Right now, as mentioned before, Chapter 1 is fully playable in the demo, featuring all core visual novel mechanics. Plus, there’s a pretty extensive in-game encyclopedia and an extra secret ending to discover.I’d love to hear your feedback, thoughts, and suggestions!Read full article on Community Announcements (XuMuK)AnnouncementsOfficial
Demo Beta Test Launch!
Attention, comrades!Today is an important day, as the visual novel "BLOK 200: Prologue" is officially entering the closed (well, not strictly closed) beta testing phase!Please note: Currently, the demo build is only available in Russian. Full English localization will be added in future updates!Here is what you can expect from the demo version:A fully playable first chapter: the main character wakes up in a stranger's hab-cell and, catching flashbacks, begins to piece together the events of her recent past.Interactivity: all core mechanics are implemented. Adjusted for the genre, of course. I tried to diversify the UI interactions as much as possible.Two endings: the release version of the demo will feature at least two(!) endings. One is the main ending, which sets up the events of the following chapters in the full game. The second is a secret ending, and to reach it, you will have to apply some i n g e n u i t y.Lore: a comprehensive in-game encyclopedia introducing the player to the core concepts of the Samosbor universe, as well as some of my own additions to the lore.It is also worth noting that the demo turned out to be relatively light on shock content. The story is just gaining momentum here. The atmosphere is oppressive, and there are hints of the upcoming horrors, but for now, they remain just hints. So you can safely show it to your mom or stream it on Twitch. But! The full version is planned to be much harsher and darker. Exactly the kind of stuff we love the Samosbor universe for.To get a beta key, send me a DM on VK or Telegram. I will be incredibly grateful for your feedback!Wishing you all an extra ration of protein concentrate and a smoothly operating hermetic door lock!Read full article on Community Announcements (XuMuK)
