About this game
FadedStar is a classic turn-based RPG inspired by the golden era of 16-bit adventure games. Journey across a sprawling world filled with vibrant towns, mysterious forests, ancient ruins, and perilous dungeons as you uncover the secrets of a realm standing on the edge of ruin.
You control four chosen warriors, each bound by destiny and driven by their own past. As the forces of hell break through the veil between worlds, these heroes must unite to confront an ancient evil threatening to consume everything. Their path winds through lost civilizations, elemental shrines, haunted battlegrounds, and the burning gates of the underworld itself.
Combat is built around traditional turn-based strategy with a focus on party synergy, skill timing, and resource management. Battles occur through random encounters while exploring the over-world and dungeons, encouraging preparation and smart decision-making. Customize your party with weapons, armor, spell scrolls, and unique character abilities that evolve as you progress.
Explore hidden paths, unlock powerful relics, complete side quests, and challenge optional bosses that reward rare treasures. Every region offers new story threads, enemy types, and environmental hazards that deepen both the narrative and gameplay.
Whether delving into labyrinthine dungeons or confronting towering demonic adversaries, FadedStar delivers a full-length adventure built for fans of traditional RPG worlds, tactical battles, and epic, high-stakes fantasy storytelling.

Random Encounters Bug Fix
We have found that there is a nasty game killing bug for the random encounter option. We have confirmed that once enabling, disabling does not work which breaks game play. We tried to fix the actual bug, however it resides in a plugin for the software we used to build the game. We are not going to make you wait for the plugin owner to fix the bug, instead, we removed that toggle option from the game. If anyone is feeling the game is a bit difficult and wishes to have lowered difficulty, let us know and we can adjust the encounters to be a bit easier. We have also confirmed, you should not have to start a new game, the random encounters should be force enabled, and resuming save files are still playable. Please resume any save game, and continue to enjoy the game. We apologize this fix too so long. Thank you.Read full article on Community Announcements (madoverlord35)Patch NotesOfficial
Admin Kill Removed
We are sorry that an ability called "Admin Kill" was found in game, that was a development skill for testing story events and was not intended to be in the release. This update should remove the skill from the game, and please notify us if you somehow still see this skill. You will have to start a new game to get the changes to take affect. Thanks you.Read full article on Community Announcements (madoverlord35)
