About this game
Yumeko suddenly vanished.
As the protagonist searches for her, they stray into a world that feels as if it has been swallowed by darkness.
The only thing to rely on is the small flame of a single candle in hand.
With every step forward into the void, random events unfold,
and the torn fragments of Yumeko’s diary—
along with encounters with strange beings lurking in the dark—
rise to the surface as shards of lost memory.
Kindling Hour is a short, horror-tinged text adventure.
It focuses on the unstable sensation of exploring with nothing but a candle’s light, and on scattered lines of text that connect like fragments.
Collect short passages as you read—before you know it, you’ll be drawn deep into the story. Even if you’re not into visual novels, the brisk pace makes it easy to enjoy.
