About this game
Video editing is like a puzzle. You cut, move, and time clips to create a single finished scene.
Video Editor is a puzzle platformer that brings this process directly into the game!
As both player and director, you must record movements, edit them, and reach the flag with the most perfect timeline!
Even if you want to make great videos, your film is limited. Every unnecessary cut or meaningless movement is a waste of film.
In the end, it's not just about how cool it looks, but how 'smartly you filmed and recorded' it!
Film short, edit smart, and produce videos efficiently!
You can't film every scene perfectly alone. That's why we sometimes film scenes with other actors separately and complete them as one video through editing!
Directly record and manipulate auxiliary tracks in chroma key colors, and overlap the two scenes through editing to pave the protagonist's way!
Uploading a video and watching the reactions is truly exhilarating! Through viewer feedback, you can see if your video satisfied the audience. In the age of short-form content, the faster you reach the flag and the less film you use, the more positive the reaction!
Aim to satisfy as many viewers as possible with your content and strive to gain many views and subscribers!
Video production is quite a tedious task. You have to revise and revise again. But remember, if at first you don't succeed, try, try again—no video fails after a hundred takes!

My Academic Journey & The Future of Video Editor
Hello, Directors!I’m writing to share an important update regarding the future development schedule for Video Editor. As a solo developer entering my first year of high school in South Korea, I’ve had to make some realistic adjustments to my roadmap. Our education system is incredibly demanding, culminating in the CSAT (College Scholastic Ability Test), a high-stakes national exam that determines university entrance and future career paths. The Challenge AheadThe next two to three years will be an intense academic marathon. It isn't just about one big test at the end; my daily life will be filled with:The CSAT (Suneung, 수능): This is a rigorous, once-a-year national exam. It is so significant that the entire country effectively slows down—even flights are grounded during the English listening portion to ensure total silence for students.Constant Performance Assessments: These are ongoing, high-pressure evaluations and projects throughout the semester that carry immense weight for university admissions.Individual Research & Science Fairs: To remain competitive, I am also dedicated to personal academic research and specialized projects within my school’s curriculum.What This Means for Video Editor?Because these academic requirements demand near-total focus, the release of Video Editor will be significantly delayed until after my graduation in late 2028. However, I am not hitting "Quit." Video Editor is a project I poured my heart into, from the code and art to the music, and I am committed to its journey. While my pace will slow down considerably:Continuous (Small) Efforts: I will still plan to dedicate small pockets of my free time to keeping the project alive.Incremental Progress: I’ll continue working on bug fixes or minor updates whenever I can find a "save point" in my studies.Long-term Vision: This is a marathon, not a sprint.
