  Performance Optimization Update (August 17, 2026)

  Thank you for playing the game. This update takes on the three things players told us hurt the most — starting with a major performance optimization pass. Performance optimization: the game stays playable when things get wild We measured where the frame time was actually going, and optimized the biggest cost on screen: the medals themselves — far cheaper to draw and to simulate than before The number of medals on the board is now kept in check, so massive payouts no longer turn the game into a slideshow The spectacle has not been toned down. The goal was to remove the stutter, not the fireworks Your winnings are unchanged: fewer physical medals, same total payout Big wins finally pay out like big wins Medals now come in higher-value types — silver, gold and rainbow — so a huge payout no longer has to fall one coin at a time A win that used to take minutes to pay out now lands in seconds. No more watching an unpaid queue grow far past what you're holding The bigger the win, the bigger the show.   Thank you for playing the game. Based on the feedback we've received, we have substantially rebuilt its systems. You now choose your buffs Dropping a chest lets you pick 1 of 3 candidates, with their effect values shown so you can compare You can hold up to 8 buff types at once. When full, you choose which one to discard The game pauses while you choose, so you can take your time Coins now have somewhere to go Spend spare coins on the contents of a draft. Reroll / Add Option / Upgrade Rarity Each is limited per draft, and prices scale with how many coins you hold Buffs actually feel like buffs now Duration is now measured in poker hands instead of seconds, so long animations no longer eat a buff's lifetime Payout animations no longer block progress, so you get more hands in the same amount of time Raised buff effect values across the board {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/45865259/8ad3b2f8a109be54d005bcf85e90609209ee1625.png Other The game now pauses during buff selection, the menu, and the tutorial The "Buff Master" achievements now count the total number of distinct buff types acquired.   Bug Fixes and Early-Game Balance Adjustments
