About this game
The Fall of Europe
After the events of Hastings, Europe was plunged into an apocalypse of blood. Humanity soon reached a crossroads: some, the uninfected, remained human and took refuge within vast fortified city-states; others, stricken by the infection, were exiled to the countryside, the pastures, and the forests, where they began to mutate into beings later classified as the Little Folk.
In the shadow of a new era, a dreadful enemy stirred in the West, poised to sweep across the continent and bring an end to the story of Mankind itself.
In the Year of Our Lord 1731, Amanda Katherine Hohenzollern, heir to the family that had ruled Ulma for nearly eight centuries, was called to the regency of the city to confront the immense trials that awaited, hidden behind a curtain of darkness and silence.
Explore the interactive Puzzle Dungeon!
Explore the secrets beneath Ulma with the Puzzle Dungeon quests! Interact with dozens of elements and discover the history of the tunnels running through the city under your feet. In the first chapter, you will find many rooms to explore and quests dedicated to this labyrinth of passageways!
Face the consequences of your choices
Every choice you make truly matters and shapes the game world of The Albion Plague. Every dialogue, every action triggers a reaction and builds a storyline completely different from the one you experienced before. There is no “right” path — only the one you choose, which will create new opportunities… or new challenges.

Save Ulma
Make choices that will change your city forever.
Complete a variety of missions: Dungeons, Persuasions, faction tasks, and much more.
Discover a living, narratively intertwined world that evolves with every major decision you make.
There is no good or evil — only choices that will deeply affect how others see you.
Decide how to manage your time and finances — the balance between the two may be the key to saving the city.

Thanks for a great Steamfest opening!
Vulpes Artica thanks you! We are thrilled with the opening downloads and wishlists for Steamfest! You have given us the opportunity to believe even more in our project and work with renewed vigor on what we hope will be a game that will remain in the hearts of those who have still placed their trust in us! Soon we will publish more frequent updates on the state of development, with some background, anecdotes and above all a before and after, showing you how we are working on the Assets! What to expect in the future? We are implementing two mechanics to make the gameplay even more varied: we will insert an interactive Escape Rooms dynamic with a series of environmental puzzles and multiple choices; after which we will move on to a "Management" mechanic which we will try to implement especially in the next chapter but which you will already have a taste of in this one! We are working on new characters, even more evocative settings, an alternation between day and night, both in the settings and in the actions that can be performed, so as to cover more social and "criminal" aspects of the city of Ulm! When will it come out?We are working so that the game can be released no later than Q2 2026, potentially as early as May! We already have many elements and many Assets close to implementation, we just need time to combine everything we have and add new ones to make the experience even more captivating! We take this opportunity to thank you very much! The interest, coming mainly from Europe and North America, touched us deeply and increased our already constant commitment. Greetings from the Vulpes Artica team!Read full article on Community Announcements (Wercole)AnnouncementsOfficial
The Albion Plague Demo
We are Vulpes Artica!Very soon we will be releasing a content-rich DEMO for our new game: The Albion Plague. We truly hope you will enjoy it and, above all, appreciate the work behind it!We are a small, all-Italian indie team. We formed in 2024 and today we are closer than ever to publishing our very first game. The challenges along the way have been many, but we believe we have learned a great deal throughout these months of development. Our community is not yet fully established, but we have managed to attract a small group of passionate players, whom we had the pleasure of hosting at our booth during Milan Games Week, where we were able to exchange ideas and feedback with them. From that meeting came our determination to improve The Albion Plague, adding new content and refining the assets to ensure an experience more intense than ever before! The Albion PlagueMany demanding challenges still lie ahead, but we have overcome the greatest ones! Development is progressing very well, and we are proud to announce that the First Chapter will be released within Q2 2026.The game will feature approximately three chapters, all planned for release within the same year, and will unfold a rich and carefully crafted story. Each of you will be able to weave your own narrative thread with ease, and no playthrough will ever be the same as the last. This is our promise, and we are committed to making the game a pleasant surprise for both genre enthusiasts and newcomers alike. We will treat the remaining chapters as DLCs, in order to provide a fully playable experience from the very first click. We have deliberately chosen not to rely on Early Access, as we believe it would compromise the experience as we envisioned it and prove too dispersive as a system (despite firmly believing it is an excellent solution for other types of games).A Content-Rich Demo!We have decided to make the entire Prologue available (just under half of the First Chapter) to allow you to understand whether the game ...Read full article on Community Announcements (Wercole)
