About this game
A pure of heart hero has been chosen by the God, Plot, to vanquish the Dark Lord and save the world! However, you do not play as him, you play as his rival.
See what is like to not be in perspective of the 'protagonist'? Instead play as a narrator turn rival, a bard trying to avoid becoming someone's love interest, and a professional comic relief, in this story rich game, about rebellion, friendship, and personal identity.

Explore the country of Valentino, as you fight through bandits and aggressive beasts in this turn base strategy game, where you can change what actions the characters do and their positions in battle.

Will you be able to one-up the protagonist, or will you force to bow to his authority?
Will you stay on the path, or will you brave uncertainty by going off of it?
Regardless of what you chose, you'll eventually ask yourself, "What Could Possibly Go Wrong?"

Bug Fix 2.0
New updates!Beastiary pictures are added! Now you're able to see drawings made by Dal and Dauphine while you learn more about the enemies you've fought. Don't worry, you'll be able who draw what. Here's some examples.Someone is definitely takes drawing way more seriously than the other...Another thing, when characters talk- there's now sound effects! Important characters have their own voices.Hovering over enemies in battle, gives you a bit of information about them to help form strategies to defeat them!Added an easter egg that changes how the narration in battle is shown depending on how beaten up Dal is.Glance has now gained an ability that allows him to heal in battle.FINALLY FIXED THAT BUG THAT SKIPS TURNS OF YOUR ALLIES WITHOUT YOUR INPUT! The game is now way more fair! Now that's all out of the way, what's the future working on? Well some accessibility stuff, making the 'how to play' in the options menu more diegetic, rewrite some dialogue to make it feel less heavy handed, and exorcism the game of bugs. However, this bug fix will be the last update for the demo (for a while), as I can't just continue fixing the demo over and over. The main game still needs to be finished!I'll be updating progress on here and possibly Tumblr!See y'all next time ːsteamhappyːRead full article on Community Announcements (AlicornDragon)Patch NotesOfficial
Bug Update!
Fixed the possibility of getting stuck in corners. Not perfect, but at least you won't get softlocked.Increased the time for inputs in the timing minigame. Removed the possibility of 'f' appearing. Also have it that arrow keys can be used instead of their wasd. However, as of now there's no indication in game for this yet. However, I hope this makes it easier to do the timing minigame!Hopefully, in the next demo update there will be an actual ingame hint for the arrow keys. I finally fix that turn base skipping bug, and of course, add Dauphine's drawings. Stay tune for more!Read full article on Community Announcements (AlicornDragon)
