I create art for various viral content pieces to share the charm of The Lost Study with even more people.In our last record, we took a look at young Penny's picture diary and got a glimpse of her curious, wide-eyed childhood as she dreamed of the sea.   [Record] Two Girls Who Love the Sea and Adventure: Penny & Ru 👭⛵️

  Hello everyone, this is Guri, the Object Illustrator for the SONAK: Story Design Project. I design the items and objects tucked away throughout the Study, adding small traces of story to every corner. In our last record, we shared the story of how Ru — trapped on a contaminated beach — happened to meet Penny, who was visiting the island by chance, and made her escape with her help. Ru had planned to reveal that she was a half-elf, but Penny’s unexpected remark stopped her from saying it! 😂 Will these two truly come to trust each other and become real friends? While looking through the Study, we happened to discover some photos thatgive us a closer look at their story. Shall we take a look together?📸 Penny & Ru's Photo Profile Photo profiles featuring Penny and Ru in all kinds of moments! From Ru saying farewell to the staff of the Sapidus Restaurant, to Penny freely sailing across the vast ocean — each photo captures a piece of their everyday life and adventures, making it all the more delightful to look through. ☺️📝 Little Penny's Picture Diary A picture diary filled with colorful sea creatures in every shape and hue. Perhaps she drew the creatures she saw with her own eyes, following her mother across the seas? Her curious gaze and the still-unpolished drawing style really convey the pure heart of young Penny. 💕📅 Next Page Preview If today we peeked into young Penny's picture diary, in two weeks we'll be looking at the Voyage Log kept by Penny herself — now a little more grown up.   [Record] A New Friend, Penny Pita ⚓

  Hello everyone, this is Guri, the Character Skin Artist for the SONAK: Story Design Project. I work on creating character skins so that the protagonists of the Study can transform into all kinds of new looks.It's the end of July, and the sweltering heat just won't quit. Last week, we shared the story of Ru arriving at the contaminated beach during her adventure. Everyone assumed she came there to end her life — but the truth is, she was simply lost and stumbled upon it by accident! 😂 Pure-hearted and a bit of a lovable klutz, can Ru safely find her way out of this dangerous beach?🎨 Webtoon: Arriving at the Beach Where Entering the Water Means Death (Part 2)※ This webtoon was created in a separate art style for storytelling purposes, and may differ from the actual in-game artwork.📖 About PennyPenny Pita is the protagonist of three tales from The Lost Study's fourteen stories: '539. Freta District 3: Anomaly Report', '494. The Marine Life Observation Journal', and '454. The Pirate Hunting Log'.With her easygoing yet fearless personality, she's the complete opposite of Ru in every charming way. Though she's the shortest of all the protagonists in the Study, she sails the seas more bravely than anyone else. ⚓ (Between us, she’s actually my personal favorite character in the game! 🤫)📅 Next Page PreviewRu and Penny left the island together and became friends!   Hello everyone, this is Guri, the Character Artist for the SONAK: Story Design Project. I work on making the characters of the Study feel more alive.With sudden showers pouring one after another in the second week of July, the rainy season is officially in full swing. 🌧️ Doesn't this kind of weather feel perfect for eerie and mysterious tales? In our last record, we introduced Ru — the elf who left her village longing for the wider world. As it turns out, there was more information about her tucked away with the missing person flyer. Shall we take a look together?📖 About RuRu Virtanen is the protagonist of three tales from The Lost Study's fourteen stories: '594. 100 Traditional Dishes of Freta', '526. A Sea Bloomed in the Forest', and '539. Freta District 3: Anomaly Report'. Though she may come across as cold and aloof at first, she actually has one of the most gentle and warm hearts of all — a charming contrast that makes her all the more endearing. 💙🎨 Webtoon: Arriving at the Beach Where Entering the Water Means Death (Part 1)Based on '539.   Hello everyone, this is Guri, the Background Art Illustrator for the SONAK: Story Design Project. I work on the background art that helps you immerse yourself even deeper into the world of the Study. Starting this week, following Chelly, I'll be sharing the story of Ru — a girl who set sail in search of adventure across the wider world. 💪Before we know it, the hot days of July are right around the corner. On days like these, don't you ever feel like escaping to the cool sea? 🌊 Here, we have a girl who longed for the world beyond the ocean and left her village behind. It seems she may have departed without telling the adults, as a missing person flyer was found posted right at the Study's door. Shall we take a look together?📜 Ru's Missing Person FlyerAmong all the characters in The Lost Study, Ru appears to be the tallest and most mature-looking character. — yet in her own village, she's actually the youngest and one of the shortest. Just how long do elves live, anyway? 🧐 As it happens, a book that can answer this very question — Introduction to Species Studies — is sitting on the bookshelf.
