Explore a narrative-driven world where your choices nurture or destroy an evolving environment. Vividly experience nature's interconnected systems in this unique survival simulation from Team Nava Games.

About this game

Experience the life of a plant in a calm, atmospheric exploration game about growth, responsibility, and the long-term impact of humans' actions on our environment.

Set in a living, reactive world shaped by procedural systems, VIVID invites you to slow down. Observe how plants grow, how ecosystems evolve, and how even small decisions can leave lasting traces. Ecological responsibility and long-term consequences are central themes – mechanically and narratively.

DIVIDER: Play at your own pace!

There is no rush, no constant pressure – only space for curiosity, reflection and meaningful interaction with nature. You can pause at any time to take well considered decisions – or just to enjoy the scenery. But be careful, every action is permanent, as there is no way to turn back time.

DIVIDER: Adjust your metabolism!

Use metabolism points to refine your resource intake & production in relation to the selected biome. Each environment offers unique challenges to overcome and varying resource availabilities to adjust to – a diverse and mixed forest differs a lot from a smog-ridden metropolitan city.

DIVIDER: Specialize yourself!

Decide wisely on which paths to specialize yourself in. Every plant comes with a different skill tree resembling it’s unique strengths & qualities in real nature. Enhance your abilities and unlock skills on multiple paths like water-, and resource-intake, photosynthesis or producing defensive pesticides.

DIVIDER: React immediately!

Random events demand immediate action through the skills you unlock. Correct use and good timing will be key to your survival. The events you come across can be either naturally occurring, like rain, drought and insects – or might be caused by human influence.

DIVIDER: For a better future!

    Steam Update #3 – Soundcheck 🔊

Hello everyone! Our latest Steam Update is here – and this time, we'd like to put the spotlight on one of the most important ingredients of immersion: sound. The following YouTube clip features a selection of sound effects currently used throughout the prototype. From rain, wind, frogs, and insects to gameplay interactions and environmental events, every sound helps immerse you deeper into the life of a plant. 🌿Many of these effects are based on real field recordings (foley), while others required a much more creative approach. For gameplay systems like metabolism and skills, our Sound Designer Mayu drew inspiration from classics such as StarCraft and Warcraft III – two legendary examples of audio design. Our goal has always been the same:Create a cozy and immersive experience that draws players into VIVID's world – not only through visuals, but also through music, ambience, and carefully crafted sound effects. 🎵Soon we'll follow up with a first teaser for VIVID's original soundtrack, composed by Alex. We can't wait to hear what you think! With every milestone we reach, VIVID's prototype feels more and more alive. As challenging as developing our debut title can be, we're happy to keep reaching our goals – and if everything continues like this, we'll be more than ready for an amazing gamescom! 💚We'd Love Your FeedbackWhich aspect of VIVID's audio are you currently most interested in?🌿 Nature ambience🎮 Gameplay sound effects🎵 The original soundtrack⚡ Skills & metabolism soundsOr something else entirely?Let us know in the comments below – we'd love to hear your thoughts!Support VIVIDIf you'd like to support the project, adding VIVID to your Steam Wishlist helps us tremendously as we continue development towards Early Access. You can also join our community and follow our journey here:Discord - https://discord.gg/dMWDuvA8jOur Socials - https://linktr.ee/teamnavagamesThanks for following VIVID's development – we'll see you in the next Steam Update! 🌱
