Explore the mysterious Jophinian Isles and confront elemental foes in The 9th Seraph, an adventure RPG where your choices shape the fate of a world on the brink.
About this game

The Jophinian Isles have been terrorised for over two hundred years by golems, diverse species of wild beasts born from the elements. The inhabitants' numbers have dwindled fast and now complete eradication of the Isles' population draws near.
Bryn Foley is an Earthmaker for the Guild of Beclir, a prestigious order of elementally-imbued warriors. Following an unexpected twist on a golem-slaying commission, he is soon sent on a mission across the Isles in search of the Seraph, the only person with the power to turn the tide against the ever-increasing golem threat. Only one can exist at any time, so the Guild knows that whoever they are, they are somewhere out there.
But the eight previous Seraphim all came forward and helped...
Why hasn't the ninth?

Explore the world of the beautifully bleak Jophinian Isles on a journey that spans across the three main islands; through the dense woodlands and tranquil meadows of Cronan, the flooded crags and rocky, shipwreck-littered beaches of Branmer, and the lava-ravaged snowy wastes of Aurtona, with secrets and hidden nooks everywhere.
Encounter a large variety of diverse enemies -- a personal take on elemental golems -- from the poisonous Weepworm to the sneaky Xylomaw, from the annoying Slatefly to the terrifying Redflag. See your enemies on the map, for you to fight or avoid as you wish.
Frontal view turn-based combat that utilises the protagonists' fighting techniques and individual personality-based abilities, as well as their elemental abilities and attacks.
Golem Bestiary that catalogues the enemies you kill. Features their abilities, strengths & weaknesses, and what items they drop, plus an insightful description from Bryn.

Demo Update for Steam Next Fest!
If you've been following The 9th Seraph socials, you may know that The 9th Seraph demo will be taking part in Steam Next Fest, so in preparation I took some time updating and improving a fair bit of it.Free Roam mode added for those who just want to experience the gameplay and freely explore the world so far without being tied down to the limitations of the story. Start with Bryn and Cerys in the party. Just start a new game and select Free Roam. Story mode is still available. Some dialogue tweaks, additions, etc.Two more enemies have been added: the Piracculus and the Albarbus.Updated character art, namely Bryn and Cerys's party images and the Alder of Serafina's dialogue portrait.Made changes to a few things in Bryn's dream.Tweaks made to parameters and values of items, weapons, armours, enemies, attacks, and so on.Different footstep sounds when walking on flowers as opposed to grass.Probably some other tweaks I can't remember right now.Thank you for checking out the demo! Any feedback or bug reports are welcome.Read full article on Community Announcements (OneStubbornKoi)Patch NotesOfficial
v2 Patch Notes
Hi! First off, thank you so much for checking out my demo! Just made a little update to fix a few things and make some other tweaks to the demo.Fixed a few trees in some Carmine Forest areas that previously lacked collision.Fixed a mistake in the dream sequence where different music would play after the future-telling part when speaking to "R".Added some loose crystals throughout the Serafina cave system to more clearly mark the pathway to help players during the section where you have to flee the cave under a time limit.Tweaked the value and names of some items.Removed some currently unused areas, graphics and event tags reserved for the full game. Just as a bit of a tidy-up of the game's files and to reduce the overall size.Other minor tweaks. If you come across any other problems, or if you just want to give feedback, please let me know!Read full article on Community Announcements (OneStubbornKoi)
