    The Game Is Evolving

This game won’t stay the same and that’s intentional. The version you see today is not the final shape of the game. Just like the Steam page itself.BeforeAfterI like to think of development as a boat at sea. You don’t stop sailing to rebuild it - you replace the planks one by one while moving forward. That’s exactly how this game is being made.I’m constantly improving systems, visuals, pacing, dialogues, and small details that add up to a better experience.BeforeAfter And the difference between what the game was a month ago and what it is now is noticeable — even without pixel-hunting or side-by-side comparisons. This project is alive. It grows, changes, and becomes more focused with every iteration.Thank you for being here and watching it evolve.P.S.The most important thing is feedback from players, since it determines how accurately the game can be improved.

    Demo is soon!

Hello! I’m Alexey, the developer of Escape from Area 51 👋Hi everyone! My name is Alexey, and I’m a solo developer working on Escape from Area 51.There’s no big studio behind this project — I’m building the game on my own. Friends help with testing, sometimes share models, and I rework a lot of assets from open sources to match the game’s style. Recently, a composer joined the project and is now writing music based on references — and it’s really bringing the world to life.I started learning game development about three years ago. Before that, I spent many years working with graphics, scripts, filming, directing, and editing for film and television. Because of that, I care a lot about atmosphere, cutscenes, and dialogue — I want Escape from Area 51 to feel like cinematic sci-fi you can actually play. The idea began with the main character — I created him myself. First he existed as a drawing, then I brought him into 3D. My experience with Blender and UE5 helped me turn the concept into something playable pretty quickly. From the character, the story started to grow: the hero has to escape from a secret facility. And honestly — there’s hardly a better place for that than Area 51. 🙂The hero has abilities like shape-shifting and reading minds. From there the story expanded into themes like: • conflict between generations • a powerful AI • mysteries hidden inside the base • government conspiracies • the secrets of Area 51 itselfThe script keeps evolving, and I’m excited to share this journey with you.👉 If the project looks interesting to you, please add Escape from Area 51 to your wishlist — it’s free, and it helps a lot during development. And I’d love to hear from you: what would you like to see next — more about the character, the mechanics, or how I create cutscenes?
