  Development Update – A New Chapter Begins

  Hey everyone,Following our recent announcement, we wanted to share a more substantial update regarding the future of The Session.One of the biggest reasons we decided to acquire this project was simple: we saw its potential.Beneath the existing foundation, we saw a game capable of becoming something much bigger than originally planned. We felt that with the right resources, investment, and long-term vision, the project could evolve into something truly special.Over the past weeks, we've been preparing everything necessary to start production. New assets have been created, internal systems have been organized, pipelines have been established, and development goals have been mapped out. The groundwork is complete, and the team is now fully focused on bringing our vision to life.While the screenshots below showcase some of the graphical improvements already in progress, they're only one part of a much larger plan. We want to expand the game itself — introducing new content, improving existing systems, creating more meaningful interactions, expanding locations, deepening gameplay mechanics, and delivering a richer overall experience.Bringing everything to a higher standard will require time, patience, and a tremendous amount of work. But we're committed to doing it right.The images below represent the first steps of that journey. They showcase the direction we're taking with character quality, environments, assets, lighting, and overall presentation.   The Session - UPGRADE

  Hey everyone,Today we want to share something important with all of you.After a long period of discussions, planning, and behind-the-scenes work, KetsuBro has officially acquired Magicstick Studio and all of its projects.Over the past months, it became increasingly clear that these projects had grown beyond what a small independent setup could realistically handle long-term. The community kept growing, the scope of future ideas became bigger, and we reached a point where taking the next step required stronger infrastructure, more resources, and a larger long-term vision.Our first major priority moving forward will be enhancing and improving The Session while continuing active development on Between Us: Reckoning.We see enormous potential in these projects, and we’re excited to revisit, expand, and improve them in ways we believe longtime fans will truly enjoy.And of course — nothing is changing regarding Between Us: Reckoning.The original developer is still leading the project, and development is continuing exactly as planned.
