Embark on Snouty’s whimsical journey through a hand-crafted fairytale world, where you’ll explore and engage in casual adventures as you grow your knowledge with each swing of the sword.

About this game

Take a relaxing walk through the woods as Snouty, a young pig eager to explore every inch of the magical world he calls home. Snouty's motivations are simple: to collect as many shiny acorns and tasty mushrooms as he can! But little does he know, a greater destiny lays in store for him...

After being gifted a legendary sword, Snouty is tasked with saving the forests. Roam across a wide fantasy realm and interact with a rich cast of characters as you fight against malicious magic and uncover the mysteries of the Great Rift.

In this open-world action RPG, you will explore the woodlands and dive into a fairytale narrative. The game also features many collect-a-thon elements, encouraging you to scour every corner of the map for those hidden golden acorns. Although interspersed with real-time action combat episodes, the game is primarily a relaxing experience, containing a fantasy-inspired soundtrack and minimal, stripped-back gameplay systems that make it easy to immerse yourself in Snouty's world.

Snouty And The Great Rift is a fantasy adventure inspired by many walks in the woods. Whether you are young or old, whether you enjoy the thrill of combat or the peace of wind blowing in the trees, your experience with this game will be fresh and unique.

    Steam Deck Compatibility

Now that the demo for Snouty And The Great Rift has been released, I have been able to get an impression on the game's compatibility with the Steam Deck, thanks to some very helpful testers. In short, the game works perfectly well on the console, but more specifically: All of the game's functionality is accessible through the Steam Deck's controls, with no additional configuration/hardware requiredButton glyphs for Steam Deck controls (e.g. on interaction prompts or when approaching an NPC to talk to them) appear correctlyThe game performs well on the Steam Deck with no major graphical bugs/stuttersAll UI elements and text appear legible on the Steam Deck, with none clipping outside of the screen's bordersIf you are playing the demo on Steam Deck, I'd be interested to hear more about your experience so that I can continue to keep the game as compatible as possible with the console. Happy foraging!
