Become a hacker in HELLO HACKER, where you'll use authentic terminal skills to uncover a government surveillance network. Your mission is clear, but the dangers are real.

About this game

Every hacker starts somewhere. Usually, it's a blinking cursor and a bad idea.

H3LL0 H4CK3R throws you in with nothing but a terminal and your wits (and a hint system for those that need it). No hand-holding. No tutorials written by people who've never seen a command line. Just you, the machine, and a network that's begging to be compromised.

Crack systems. Cover your tracks. Build your legend—or get traced and burned.

This isn't a game about hacking. This is hacking.

What To Expect

WARNING! - HELLO HACKER will challenge you to be curious and to read and pay attention to everything. You never know what will be a clue that you need later. You will experience a realistic Linux terminal, with real commands. Careful, you may learn something. If you are interested in Linux, cybersecurity or CTF's like TryHackMe, then this game is for you. Use hints when you get stuck, but be careful... they may cost you with your place on the global leaderboard.

The Mission

Alex Chen, a security researcher and your friend, is missing. Before going missing, Alex

left you an encrypted system with one final message: "Find the breadcrumbs. Expose the truth."

Now it's your turn to finish what Alex started - but be warned: once you discover the truth, you become the next

target.

The story isn't over. Project Daybreak is coming.

If you're reading this, you finished the game. You followed Alex's trail. You exposed PROJECT NIGHTFALL. You saw what they were doing — and you made sure the world saw it too. But you know how these things go. The story got buried. The people responsible walked free. And somewhere, on a server you haven't found yet, the work continued. HELLO HACKER 2: PROJECT DAYBREAK Six months after the events of Hello Hacker, you receive an encrypted message through a dead-drop protocol you haven't used since Alex Chen. Inside: a photograph. Proof of life for someone who is supposed to be dead. And embedded in the image's metadata, a single word: DAYBREAK. Project Daybreak is the full sequel to Hello Hacker — and it's everything the first game was building toward. Nightfall was the data collection. Daybreak is what they planned to do with it. A private AI firm called Meridian Systems has built something called AURORA — an autonomous threat-assessment system trained on the Nightfall surveillance dataset. It doesn't just monitor. It decides. And it has already acted, without human review, eleven times. Your job is to find the proof. Get in, get out, and make sure this one actually sticks. What's new in Project Daybreak A full Linux desktop environment — 15 interactive tools running as real GUI applications A multi-host network to infiltrate across three acts, with a branching story and three possible endings An OPSEC system that tracks every trace you leave — noisy moves attract attention, and AURORA learns from your patterns 12 challenge categories: network recon, web exploitation, cryptography, steganography, forensics, OSINT, social engineering, reverse engineering, privilege escalation, exploitation, and malware analysis The deepest OSINT mechanic in any hacking game — correlated intelligence across social media, WHOIS, code repos, corporate registries, and more 52 Steam Achievements If you played Hello Hacker The world of Project Daybreak picks up directly from where you left ...
