  New Project Announcement + Hell Forge Update

  It’s been a month since Hell Forge officially launched. The forge stays warm, but not as hot as it was at the beginning.So - What’s next, for both of us?I’ve been working on my next project: Ego Lifting Simulator. Think “Human Fall Flat” for gym rats! If simulator games are your thing, a wishlist would be the single best way to support indie dev starting a new journey.As my debut game, Hell Forge means more to me than I can put into words. I poured my heart and soul into it, and while there’s so much I’d do better with what I know now, every lesson from Hell Forge is going straight into what I build next.I’ll keep fixing critical bugs and staying active in the community — but new content update will be on pause while I focus on the next project. Hell Forge isn’t going anywhere, though the forge just needs to cool for a bit.Thank you so much for everything. See you in the gym.

  Patch Note 20260321

  The following issues have been fixed in this patch.Fully Upgraded Equipment Bug Before: Clicking a fully upgraded piece of equipment (all 3 options at level 3) at the Dwarf's Forge caused a UI bug that made the game unplayable. After: Fully upgraded equipment no longer appears in the Dwarf's Forge. If all equipment in your possession is fully upgraded, the Dwarf's Forge becomes unavailable.Quest Bug Fixed a bug where the "Attempt 3 Forges" quest was not counting failed forge attempts.

  The new weapon we teased last week is officially live in Hell Forge! But before we get into the details — the launch sale ends in 2 days! If you haven't tried Hell Forge yet, now's the time.👊🏽 Base Weapon: Wave Fist Get up close and personal. Fast attack speed and high damage tear through enemies in front of you. Since it only fires in the direction you're facing, it takes some skill to pilot — but the payoff feels incredible. 😋💥 Evolved Weapon: Extreme Wave Fist Charge your energy for a few seconds, then unleash a devastating blast in the direction you're facing! Fair warning: fire it before it's fully charged and the results will be... underwhelming.😉 Dev Tip Wave Fist's biggest strength is also its biggest weakness — it only hits what's directly in front of you. The perfect complement? "Cursed Footstep." Pair those two together and keep upgrading your attack range, and... well, we'll let you figure out the rest.🛠️ Additional Patch NotesResolution Settings: One of the most requested features — windowed mode and resolution options are now available! To ensure the best experience, resolutions are limited to 16:9 aspect ratios.Max Level Rewards: When all your weapons and accessories are maxed out, level-ups and boss rewards now let you choose between Soul Harvest, Gold Harvest, or HP Recovery.No More Price Increase on Failed Forges: Forge costs now only increase on success. Failed forges no longer punish your wallet.Forge Success Rate: Nothing kills the fun faster than a streak of failed forges. So in this patch, we've reduced the upgrade cost for the Forge Success Rate stat in the lobby and raised the max level from 3 to 4.At level 4, your forge success rate hits 95%.Note: The Ancient Forge uses a separate tier-based probability system, so this upgrade only applies to the Dwarf's Forge.If you've been enjoying Hell Forge, we'd love to hear about it — a Steam review means the world to a small indie team like us. 🫶🏻

  🏗️ Structure Spawn System Improvement & 👊🏽 New Weapon Teaser!

  Hell Forge has been out for a week now, and we've been keeping a close eye on your feedback. The game is not yet perfect, but we are working hard to make every run feels better.🏗️ This Patch improved how structures spawn!Before: Each structure spawns independently -- basically its own dice roll with fixed odds. That means depending on your luck -- you could run an entire run barely seeing structure you needed. For a game where actively shaping your build is the whole point, we knew this was a critical problem.After: Structure no longer spawn independently. Inspired by the Tetris's 7 bag system, we've reworked the logic to make sure the structure distribution stays consistent across every session. No more drought runs.And before we wrap up — we can't resist dropping a new weapon teaser.Does this look familiar? 🤫 Let's just say our dev team is a huge fan of Dragonball Z...The new weapon drops in the next update, so stay tuned!
