About this game
Dragon Tiles is a lightweight top-down action roguelite bullet-hell survival game. Lead a chain of multiple heroes in a snake-like formation, automatically attacking and clearing waves of enemies while upgrading your team through the shop after each round.
The core isn't about controlling a single character to unleash complex skills — it's about building your battle team through purchasing, rerolling, combining, star-upgrading, and forming synergies. Each hero has a unique attack style and traits; pair heroes with matching traits to activate powerful synergy effects and transform your squad from scattered firepower into a screen-clearing machine.
Each run alternates between short bursts of combat and shop preparation. Decide how to spend your limited gold: pick up new heroes, pursue 3-in-1 star upgrades, reroll the shop, grab items, or keep investing in a core synergy. Different choices lead to different playstyles.
Game Features:
Top-down bullet-hell survival — lightweight, snappy, and satisfyingly intense
Multiple heroes linked in a snake-like chain, forming an auto-attack formation
Purchase, reroll, combine, and star-upgrade in the shop for a clear in-run progression rhythm
Build diverse archetypes through synergies — Shooting, Chain, Field, Orbit, Beam, and more
Physical, Fire, Poison, Ice, Electric — elemental traits that bring distinct combat effects
Short round structure cuts the downtime and gets you into the build-and-battle loop fast
Clean, readable visual style focused on clarity, feedback, and a lightweight experience
Survive the relentless enemy waves, make crucial choices in the shop, and forge an ordinary squad into a powerful survivor force.

The Dragon Tiles Demo Is Available Now (Updated to v0.0.0.2)
Hello, I'm the solo developer of Dragon Tiles. The Dragon Tiles demo is available now and can be downloaded directly from the store page. It covers the basic controls, the combat and the core mechanics, and lets you play through a complete run. The full version will include over 50 heroes, over 90 items, a complete 18-round run and an endless mode. The demo presents only a portion of this content. You are welcome to add Dragon Tiles to your wishlist in order to be notified when the full version launches. The demo has also been updated to v0.0.0.2. The changes are as follows: · The settings screen has been reorganised. The option categories and the layout have been adjusted, giving the screen a clearer and more consistent structure. · The shop interface has been updated. The demo previously used an earlier version of the shop interface; it now matches the design shown on the Steam store page. · The visual effects of several heroes have been improved, making the feedback clearer when an ability is used. · No new heroes have been unlocked in this update. The available heroes are the same as in the previous version. If you encounter any issues while playing the demo, or have any suggestions, please leave a comment. Thank you for playing the demo and for your support.Read full article on Community Announcements (hf_happy)AnnouncementsOfficial
The Dragon Tiles Demo Is Now Available
Hi, I'm the solo developer of Dragon Tiles. The demo is now available to play. This build is mainly intended to give you a first look at the basic controls, combat, and core mechanics, so some content and details will still differ from the final release. One thing I want to clarify: the shop UI in the demo is from an earlier build. After the demo had already been packaged, I redesigned and improved the shop UI for the full version, and the screenshots on the Steam store page have since been updated to show the newer design. So, the shop UI you see in the demo is not representative of the final version. The full release is now in its final stage of polish and is planned to launch within the next month. If you run into any bugs, control issues, or have any feedback about your experience, please feel free to leave a comment here. Thanks for taking the time to try the demo and for your support.Read full article on Community Announcements (hf_happy)
