About this game
In Russian Village Business, you play as a young entrepreneur who has arrived in the Russian countryside as part of the "Russian Village Business" program to open a small shop and start selling groceries and essential goods.
You will take part in village life, influence its development, and help local residents cope with the challenges of rural living.
Your shop will become a point of attraction - a place where villagers can purchase everything they need to survive and prosper. Moreover, some residents will be able to sell their own products through your shop, which will affect their income, help them improve their homes, and even their personal lives.
In Russian Village Business, villagers live according to a daily schedule: they go to work, mind their own business, and from time to time need help from a savvy entrepreneur. Don’t hesitate to communicate - get to know them better, get a phone numbers, and find out whether they need anything beyond regular shopping.
In addition to the shop, the village features a local administration building, a post office, a rural community center, and a local police station - all worth visiting to fully immerse yourself in village affairs.
Russian Village Business combines elements of a shop management simulator, everyday life simulation, and a sandbox game, all set in the spirit of the Russian province - with humor, warmth, and recognizable characters and situations.

Demo Update 0.03 — Better Saving, Stocking and Store Management
The Russian Village Business demo has been updated to version 0.03.This update focuses on small but important improvements that make running your village shop more convenient.What’s new:Added a save indicator and a prompt asking whether you want to save the game when exiting.You can now stock products directly from a box by holding RMB.Phone numbers in the notebook can now be dialed automatically by clicking the number.Added a universal crate that can hold different types of products. Aim the crate at a tray and press RMB to neatly place the products onto it.Added bulk jar purchases using the universal crate. Use the jars for your shop, while keeping the crate for future use.Fixed an issue where jars could disappear after loading a save.Fixed an issue causing posters in the shop to duplicate.Thank you to everyone playing the demo and reporting bugs. The Russian Village Business Demo Is Now Available!
Today, August 26, the Russian Village Business demo becomes available to everyone.After several closed playtests, we are moving into a new stage of development. Russian Village Business Demo Releases August 26
On August 26 at 20:00, the Russian Village Business demo will become available - marking a new stage in the development and promotion of the game.Unlike our previous playtests, the demo will be open to everyone. You can try the game, share your feedback, and follow how the project changes with each update.We have also applied to take part in the autumn “Next Fest” festival, which will run from October 19 to 26. The game is planned to receive regular updates from August 26 through January 25, 2027. A Cozier Village and a More Convenient Store
Development of Russian Village Business is moving forward.We've now completed 6 product licenses, each containing 6 products that can be ordered by phone. We already have ideas for the remaining four licenses, but we'd like to make them different. Instead of adding more imported goods, we're planning to introduce locally produced products. This will allow players to work with villagers, order goods directly from them, and help improve the local economy.We've also reworked the village layout. One unnecessary street has been removed, creating extra space near the store for future buildings or activities. The remaining street now follows a gentle slope, making the village feel much more natural. Some houses have been temporarily removed and will most likely be relocated across the river, closer to the village club.The village has also become much greener, with more trees, bushes, and vegetation. 8 Months of Development: Here's What's Already in the Game
Hello everyone!There probably won't be any major art updates this week, so we thought it would be a great opportunity to look back and see how much Russian Village Business has grown.Over the past eight months, the game has expanded far beyond its original concept. What started as a simple idea about running a village shop has evolved into a living world filled with locations, villagers, interactive objects, and gameplay systems.Russian Village Business is an economic shop management simulator. Through the government-funded "Russian Village Business" program, the main character receives an old rural grocery store and must keep the village supplied with everyday essentials while expanding the business and improving its reputation.The village now includes several important locations, including the administration building, post office, community club, and local police station. Besides the permanent residents, you'll also meet travelers and visitors who may stop by your shop or become part of special village events.The store itself is divided into several rooms. Players begin with a small sales area that can later be expanded by unlocking a second section. There's also a private living room where you'll eventually find a home telephone and a personal computer to help manage deliveries and utility bills.Many objects are already interactive. Telephones can be used to order products, a broom cleans up the dirt left behind by customers, an axe is used for chopping firewood, the bed lets you end the day, the radio can play your own music by placing tracks into the Music folder, and the trash container rewards players for keeping the shop clean.And this is only a small part of what has already been implemented.
