GAMEPLAY:

GESTALT: Memoria is the sequel game to GESTALT: The Fifth Day, taking place both inside of Wicke's haunted home, the city she lives in, and the deepest recesses of her psyche. In order to confront or bury her past, Wicke must explore the deepest recesses of her subconscious, and even her own memories. She must overcome the distorted images of the past through her own wits, mettle, and ability to solve problems.

Solve puzzles and use your skills of deduction to navigate the unknown, bizarre, and strange. Time seems to be a factor, as Wicke will often find herself back in places she has visited previously, unknowingly giving her second chances. However, this does not make her immune to consequence. Failure is still very real, and this strange temporal phenomenon appears to have its limits. Be wary: Both failure and success will drive Wicke's story forward.

STORY:

Wickeina 'Wicke' Gestalt still lives in a haunted house.

Taking place approximately one year after the events of GESTALT: The Fifth Day, GESTALT: Memoria sees Wicke still tackling the day-to-day ebb and flow of everyday life. Though she has grown accustomed to some sense of control within her haunted home, the paranormal phenomenon within never rest. One such entity comes forth, more violent and incessant than the rest, who threatens both Wicke's safety and mental wellbeing. Along with this dangerous new monstrosity is another new entity: A deer-like creature of unknown origin, who seems incredibly invested in Wicke's desires. Wicke must figure out how to rid herself of the monstrosity that is terrorizing her, trying to discern the validity of the deer-like entity's help, all while trying to maintain her own fragile mental state. To proceed forward, Wicke is forced to look back.

Wicke's fate will be decided by her true desire.

    NEW LANGUAGE: FRENCH! (Demo Ver.1.5)

《GESTALT: Memoria》NEW LANGUAGE: French! (Demo Ver.1.5)Hey y'all! There's another update that's come to Memoria, and it's been in the making for a while now. You can now play the demo in French! This one comes from the amazing Kharisma Brulé, and I'm so happy to finally get this game to a French audience. This demo is getting to see more of Europe everyday, and though this may be the last language update for a while, I'm so happy this demo is available in 4 different languages now!No new patch notes this time around other than the language update, the demo has been fairly stable so I hope all the new players of the GESTALT series enjoy the best version of the demo to date!-KINJΛ -☆Play the Demo!☆ JOIN the DISORD: https://discord.gg/Qtdr8qeXXH☆ JOIN the PATREON: https://www.patreon.com/c/KINJAKO☆ KINJA on TWITTER: https://x.com/KinjaLee☆ KINJA on BLUESKY: https://bsky.app/profile/kinja.bsky.social☆ KINJAKO on TWITTER: https://x.com/kinjak0☆ KINJAKO on BLUESKY: https://bsky.app/profile/kinjako.bsky.social

    NEW LANGUAGE: SPANISH! (Demo Ver.1.4)

《GESTALT: Memoria》NEW LANGUAGE: Spanish! (Demo Ver.1.4)Hey y'all! There's a new update for the demo for GESTALT: Memoria. Now, for the first time in the GESTALT series, you can now play the game in Spanish! This comes from the hard-working translators over at Punda Translations, who did some work for the demo that I'm very happy with in order to get it to more Spanish-speaking players. I'm stoked to finally get to share this (I've been so caught up with development over on Keepers of the Keep), and now's the time to get it to you! There's one other little feature, but let's list out these changes as usual:The game is now localized in Spanish! This can be accessed by going to the Settings menu when pausing (or from the title screen), scrolling down to the new "Language" option, and selecting the option for Spanish. There is now a credits section in the main menu of the game! Even though it's mostly me that works on these games, There's a handful of others that deserve their flowers (not least of all the localization squad), so if you want to read it and see who did what and where, now you can read it yourself before you even beat the demo! That's all for now! I'm excited to bring these sorta updates to Memoria's demo, and I'll be sure to post again if there's another one coming up. For now, I hope the Spanish-speakers enjoy this new update!-KINJΛ -☆Play the Demo!☆ JOIN the DISORD: https://discord.gg/Qtdr8qeXXH☆ JOIN the PATREON: https://www.patreon.com/c/KINJAKO☆ KINJA on TWITTER: https://x.com/KinjaLee☆ KINJA on BLUESKY: https://bsky.app/profile/kinja.bsky.social☆ KINJAKO on TWITTER: https://x.com/kinjak0☆ KINJAKO on BLUESKY: https://bsky.app/profile/kinjako.bsky.social

    NEW LANGUAGE: Brazilian Portuguese! (Ver.1.3)

《GESTALT: Memoria》NEW LANGUAGE: Brazilian Portuguese! (Ver.1.3)Hey y'all! This new update comes with an exciting new feature: Multi-language support. For the first time in the GESTALT series, the demo for Memoria is now available in Brazilian Portuguese! This translation comes from the wonderful individual, Mixa, who has been a great help in bringing this demo to South America. Along with that, there's some hot fixes made to this version of the demo as well! Here's the small list of what's gonna be different as you boot up the newest version of Memoria:The game is now localized into Brazilian Portuguese. This can be accessed by going to the Settings menu when pausing (or from the title screen), scrolling down to the new "Language" option, and selecting the option for Portuguese. An issue with save slots has been revisited and retouched. This will mostly affect new players of the demo, who will have the latest version of this new system available. For those that already have the demo, your save files will remain untouched.A credits screen has been added to the game upon completing the demo. This credits screen lists who worked on what part of the game, the names of the music tracks used, the game's engine, as well as the credit for localization. This credits screen will be updated if more people are brought on to help with the game. Two typo fixes have been found and corrected. The goal will be to bring Memoria to more audiences, meaning more translations. This will be a slow and steady process, but I'm excited at bringing the game to new regions (while bringing it BACK to some familiar regions that The Fifth Day has already been released in). For now, enjoy the new translation and features, and have a good rest of your holiday season.-KINJAPlay the Demo!Support the Dev!☆ KINJA on BLUESKY☆ KINJAKO on BLUESKY☆ KINJAKO Website

    Demo v.1.2 is LIVE!

《GESTALT: Memoria》Demo v.1.2 is LIVE!Hey y'all! The first Steam update for GESTALT: Memoria's prologue demo is finally here! This is the result of many more playtests, watching streams, and analyzing YT videos, so thank you to all of the players who have helped this update happen! Here are the patch notes for this update:PATCH NOTES:Save/Load slots have FINALLY been fixed! The data no longer misaligns itself upon saving and loading. Previously, the text was only partially selectable, and now by selecting your play time you can save and load normally. Finally, the red screen that shows when overwriting a save for the first time no longer appears. This last one is temporary (I like this feature very much), but it isn’t behaving properly, so it’s been removed for now.Holding down on the Steam Deck left analog stick will no longer take a Ren’py screenshot. This previously occurred because the Steam Deck defaults the left analog stick to WASD controls, where the ‘S’ key normally takes a Ren’py screenshot (If you are making a Ren’py game for the Steam Deck, I recommend you look into this as well!) The Steam screenshot feature will still be functional.A typo has been corrected in the game’s opening warning.A grammatical change has been made to a line of dialogue. There has been a fix to the game’s Continue button, which now properly displays white text when there is a save file detected. A Load Game option has been added to the main menu. The Achievements screen has a “Close” button, as the previous button was hard for players to find. Discord and Patreon buttons have been added to the main menu.A visual cue now changes after completing the first half of the demo. This decision was made in order to help others complete the prologue, hopefully without making things too easy.Text denoting the demo as a prologue demo has been added to the main menu. That's it for now! Hopefully this all helps new players out a little bit, while overall just being a much smoother experience. This...
