About this game
In the 25th century, humanity has been forced to expand beyond its solar system. Among the stars, the planet VESTA is discovered, a world that may hold the promise of a new home. To study it, the A.R.E.S. space station is launched into orbit to analyze its potential. But when the station, and the crew, was caught up in a space phenomenon, calamity struck…
You play as Miranda, who awakens alone aboard the station trapped in a strange phenomenon. With clues of the past echoing through the world: an object out of place, a door newly unlocked, a message left behind almost as if the station itself challenges you. To survive, Miranda must rely on her mind, solving intricate puzzles, experimenting with strange objects, and piecing together the truth behind what happened to her crew and the station itself.
As you unravel the mystery, one truth becomes clear: progress always has a cost. Rivage is an atmospheric sci-fi puzzle adventure that blends exploration, logic, and narrative discovery into a deeply beautiful experience, where each step brings you closer to escape.
Step aboard the A.R.E.S. station, a meticulously detailed, fully interactable environment where every item tells a story. Examine artifacts, analyze research data, and uncover hidden notes scattered across abandoned workstations.
The station was once home to a crew, each with their own goals, fears, and philosophies. Now, only fragments of their lives remain: journals, personal logs, and encrypted messages scattered throughout the station. Piece together their relationships, uncover the emotional toll of isolation, and experience a narrative that weaves scientific mystery with human vulnerability.
Every puzzle in Rivage is woven into the fabric of the story. You’ll repair broken systems, realign malfunctioning mechanisms, and solve environmental challenges that play with gravity, magnetism, and the very flow of time.
With the K9 System, Miranda can log discoveries and retain certain puzzle solutions, allowing players to focus on what truly matters; uncovering the truth behind the distortions that have consumed the station. This balance keeps gameplay engaging, rewarding cleverness and persistence over repetition.

✨Improving Rivage – Taking The Demo Off Steam✨
Space adventurers, Today we have another piece of news for you regarding the status of Rivage – we’re taking the game demo off Steam this Thursday, August 20th. The improvement works that we have set out to do and explained in our previous post here are going well and the current work-in-progress Rivage build looks a lot more like the experience we envisioned the game to be and that you will enjoy. Therefore, we have made the decision to take the current Rivage demo off Steam – we believe that it no longer represents the experience of playing Rivage. That said, let us clarify that this doesn’t mean that Rivage has become a different game – when you play the full version, you’ll see a lot of familiar environments, puzzles and story pieces that you have discovered in the demo. What is different though is many improvements we made to the game design itself, and since we’re so close to the release, we have decided to leave them in the final version. Some of you requested more info on the different areas of improvements, here are some examples: Reworked a lot of UI and UX systems to improve the player's journey Added new voice lines Created new narrative hints Reworked some of the puzzles Added new puzzles Once again, thank you for playing the demo and providing your feedback. Without it, Rivage would not have reached the best version of itself, and we thank each one of you for taking your time and investing effort into playing the game and leaving your comments. We cannot wait for the release when you will enjoy Rivage at its fullest! Also, we cannot believe this big day is so close, and even though the majority of fixes are done, we’re tying together the remaining bits and pieces for the smoothest experience possible, with excitement growing exponentially. 🌀Game Improvements Planned – New Release Date September 22, 2026🌍
Space adventurers, Thank you for your continued passion for Rivage and extensive feedback on the demo. We have an important announcement to make: we have decided to move the release date of Rivage to September 22nd 2026. For us, being a two-people development team, your involvement is a very serious matter and we treat it with great respect and attention. As the workload increased drastically in the past month, we still remember your contribution to this project in its early days. It is due to your consistent and fair remarks that we have decided to take some more time to improve several gameplay aspects, especially User Experience and Quality of Life. The Rivage’s gold master we have been preparing for the release is stable and polished in terms of the technical performance. However, we did notice that player experience needs improvement at a few targeted places. We are committed to bringing you the best game experience possible. This would not be feasible, if we kept our initial release date in August. This was not an easy decision for us to make as this also means we will be facing harsher competition. However, the quality of the game is more important because we really want it to succeed! The release date has therefore been moved to September 22, 2026.
