Collect, refine, and craft with a vast array of materials, cashing out your most valuable creations to pass ever-rising profit goals! Leverage and synergise countless Artefacts, upgrades, and spells to become increasingly powerful in the addictive roguelike deckbuilding game Encrafted!
Embark on an addictive journey of deckbuilding and resource management as you collect, refine, and craft in Encrafted. Navigate the challenges by leveraging synergies between Artefacts and upgrades to stay ahead.
About this game
Encrafted is ridiculously easy to pick up, but a thrill to master.
The goal is simple: Sell materials to gain enough money to pass a round's goal.
Your Bag is like a deck of cards, draw from the bag to get a random assortment of materials from it. Buy, destroy, and apply spells to materials every round to tweak and cultivate the bag to your liking.
Combine up to 4 materials in the crafting slots to merge them into a vast array of other materials.
Along the way collect distinct Artefacts that have powerful effects which have the possibility of synergising with one another, creating deadly combinations and addictively-satisfying results.
Features:
5 different bags to play with, each with their own rules and starting materials.
250+ unique Artefacts that bring with them their own potential to massively increase the value of your sales.
200+ Material types to discover, craft with, and sell.
20 spells to come across and apply to your Materials or Artefacts during your runs.
17 upgrade types that you can purchase between rounds to increase any of your stats permanently for the run.
10 difficulty levels for each bag that add compounding challenges if you're up for it.
All code and art is done by just me (human-made)! :)
During every run, discover more ways to build money, and unlock new Artefacts that will show up randomly in future attempts.

Encrafted 0.76.4
Encrafted Beta 0.76.4In 0.76, the Encrafted UI has been dramatically improved in a number of ways, along with that the Metallic bag has received its long awaited transition into the Challenge bag, where a collection of challenges will be continually added to it.Vast UI ImprovementsAcross the board several UI elements have been significantly improved, in fairly simple ways as to not jeopardise the actual feel and identity of Encrafted. The BackgroundThe background on Encrafted has been unchanged since I originally made it. While it's served us well, I think it's due for an update.I've always had a slight preference for the background that was present on the "Tranquillity" challenge round (via the "Peace" artefact), so I decided that in order to help contrast it more with the actual UI elements, I'd make that cooler purple tone the new standard background colour, and Tranquillity will get an even cooler blueish tone.Along with this, the actual texturing of the background has been made more smooth/silky, with less harsh contrast, an overall darker look with a really soft vignette, and a subtle scrolling hexagon pattern which makes it look even more visually interesting yet reserved. For those who don't like this particular change, there's a setting in the preferences page to revert to the old-school pink background.Diegetic menusThe menus have also not really been changed since the game's initial inception. They also definitely served their purpose and looked fine, but I thought a little texturing wouldn't go astray. Now the menus in the game have all been given a slight grainy look to feel like tangible wooden boxes to go with the already wooden borders. Along with this each cell is now made to look like a physical space an item could sit in, making the game's UI truly come to life.Sell loads: now with extra JUICE!Selling in Encrafted is the most important part of the game... wait no- that's actually crafting, but it's a very close second!A huge improvement has been made...Read full article on Community Announcements (Riley Gray)AnnouncementsOfficial
Encrafted 0.75.0
Encrafted Beta 0.75.0This update adds 25 brand new materials to the game! Unfortunately for Demo players, only one of these are obtainable via the picnic bag. This marks the beginning of my concentrated effort to flesh out the rest of the game, and begin adding the challenge bag.The New MaterialsBecause these don't affect the Demo, I won't talk about them much because not many people are concerned about the not (yet) available full game. The materials added were largely aimed at fleshing out the Explorer bag some more, including making some materials that were previously "final" become ingredients for more advanced materials. Cannonball was a commonly crafted final product that now finds itself useful as an ingredient for another weapon!Glow pigment has been added (first new pigment to be added beyond the core colours), an upgrade to the statue (another dead-end craft that has more life), even fertiliser can be used now to make a potted flower! The explorer bag has a strawberry and a banana, which is a picnic bag crossover. Because of this I've added the "Fruit Skewer", which is helps the Explorer bag have a little more use for the only two fruits you can access in it. As a side effect, the Picnic bag (and as a result the demo), now also has the ability to craft it.Guide improvements (Base value display)When watching people playing Encrafted, I noticed many players would overestimate the importance of the "rarity" of a material.Rarities only exist to dictate how often something may appear in the shop. Rare things will appear in the shop significantly less than a common material. Materials that cannot be bought in the shop still have a rarity internally, and this was visible in the gallery, and the crafting guide.Because rarities are generally associated with value, it meant that players would sometimes opt to craft something with a higher "rarity" value, over something that was far more valuable but of a lesser rarity. Things like chocolate are considered "rare" only ...Read full article on Community Announcements (Riley Gray)AnnouncementsOfficial
Encrafted 0.74.2
Encrafted Beta 0.74.0 - 0.74.2G'day! This update brings for the first time some additional attributes! Along with that three new artefacts that you may come across, one mythical latent artefact and two general artefacts focused on earning extra essence.Voltaic MaterialsThere is now a new uncommon spell that may appear in shops: ElectrifyWhen used it will make the chosen material Voltaic, which will cause it to add an extra 10% of value to all crafts done while it is in the inventory. Multiple voltaic materials will have compounding effects as each 10% is stacked with the last.Spectral MaterialsAnother uncommon spell that may appear in shops: TranscendThis one makes materials Spectral. Spectral materials have a 50% chance to not be consumed when used for crafting. This means you may get multiple uses out of a single material! Especially useful if it persists through to a more complicated and valuable product so you can use it again (and maybe again).Attribute Inheritance ChancesA useful UI feature added is the ability to see the chances that a given craft will result in which specific attribute, based on its inputs.New Artefacts!Smuggler / Contrabandit: Disposing the randomly targeted material type will instantly grant 3 essence. After each round, the targeted material will be randomised based on the bag's contents.Offering / Oblation: If the first sell load of round contains only one persistent material, it will be permanently destroyed and 3 essence will be granted.Imitator / Ultra Imitator: Once held for 2 rounds, can be disposed to create a random new artefact the same as one that's currently equipped.Other TweaksA handful of other tweaks and fixes as always has been made, most notably for consistency reasons Shimmer and Persuasion have swapped rarities, so you can obtain gilded materials more often to get out of the early game on higher difficulties.Several more artefacts have had their weight dropped down to 1 to better reflect their fleeting utility on a round...Read full article on Community Announcements (Riley Gray)AnnouncementsOfficial
Encrafted 0.73.2
Encrafted Beta 0.73.0 - 0.73.2G'day everyone! Thank you so much for playing and enjoying the Encrafted demo!! It's been absolutely thrilling seeing the game reach more eyes than anything I've ever made before! I'll continue to update and improve the game as I pave the way to fully releasing it! Don't forget to add it to your wishlist if you like it, it helps a tonne!!!This update doesn't add any new artefacts, but it does add many quality of life tweaks and fixes, along with a lot of fine balancing. More artefacts are coming, however!Pinning recipes is here! You can now pin any entry in the crafting guide!By pressing the pin button on an entry in the crafting guide, you can pin it to the top. This also means that it will show outside of the crafting guide above your crafting slots, giving you a quick indicator of how close you are to making it! You can also select any material to bring up the guide filtered to that.Quick sending materials to the crafting slots! If you press the hammer icon in the guide for any entry that is ready to be crafted, it will move all of the materials into the crafting slots for you! Make sure to alter the order of materials used before you do it if your build requires it.Suboptimal draw protectionSometimes players would accidentally draw from the bag when they were intending to look inside of it, this is particularly frustrating if you have a mostly full inventory, and the resulting draw would be wasted by only giving you 1 or 2 materials. To help with this, the magnifying glass has hat its detection zone significantly increased. On top of that, if you try and draw when it would result in a suboptimal bag pull, it will require you to hold it down instead of just tapping it.This holding behaviour also applies to the new game menu if it would overwrite an existing run.Challenge round introsTo make challenge rounds more obvious, and possibly a little menacing, there's now an intro title that shows which challenge round is starting. It's accompa...Read full article on Community Announcements (Riley Gray)Patch NotesOfficial
