About this game
In 1968, the once prosperous company town of Cerro Milagroso vanished in a single week. The official story said that a fire had destroyed the town, along with all but one of the town's 724 residents, but you don't buy it. There's a bigger story that lies beneath, and you will be the one to find it. Funeral for the Sun is a non-linear detective game rooted in Latin American history that allows you to enter a world of memories and deduce secrets beyond your wildest imaginations.

Funeral for the Sun will run on Mac and Steam Deck! (and a change to controls)
Hi everyone! If you have a mac or a Steam Deck, I have a very important task for you!I am currently hard at work creating and optimizing a playable mac and Steam Deck build for Funeral for the Sun, so that more of you guys have access to the game! Since I don't have either of these devices, I'm requesting your help with playtesting the demo as it exists on Steam! Let me know if it runs well, and if you run into any bugs on my discord channel here: https://discord.gg/JpGWCBcFQ5In addition to that, I've also made a big change regarding the controls. Initially I wanted the player to move around with wasd, and using 'E' to interact. However, I have found that player experience is far better with pure point and click controls, and for a few months now I've been quietly optimizing around that. This way, everything in the game is intended to work purely with a click of the mouse. This means that for Steam Deck, I intend to make the game compatible with touch controls and the trackpad as the primary mode of interaction. Finally, I want you guys to keep an eye out for an exciting announcement coming really soon! I'm pretty sure some of you can take a guess already but I wouldn't want to spoil the surprise.Read full article on Community Announcements (nicogcid)AnnouncementsOfficial
Funeral for the Sun will be localized to Simplified Chinese!
Funeral for the Sun has received a lot of support from English speaking audiences during its release cycle, so I’m very happy to announce that it will be receiving a localization to simplified Chinese shortly after its initial English-only launch this fall! For now, you can keep track of the project by wishlisting the game on steam. A simplified chinese translation of this demo is expected to be released later this year.Read full article on Community Announcements (nicogcid)AnnouncementsOfficial
