    Demo Update - 4

Dev Log - Update 4Hi everybody!Updates breaking saves has been on the top of our radar for a while now, and it’s finally fixed with this patch (we believe!), unfortunately there may be one last break while we store data better.Watching content on your decks (especially some of the fun Bell of Mercy combos) has been fun and please keep sharing screenshots of crazy boards you build up!We’re working through building more cards and encounters, we’re focusing heavily on some chaining and combination effects at the moment so you can setup big chains of buffs or debuffs. Along with more Mystic archetypes.Lastly, there are a few upgrades to the UI to see your units’ life better, provisions and their rarity better, and more UI little improvements. We’ll probably have progression done soon, but it’s likely we leave it out of the Demo because we have provided a crazy amount of content in the demo. But any progress you get from the Demo will be stored and you won’t lose it for the full release.Change Log - Demo - Update 4New ContentNew Player cards!Golden Carrot (Tinykin)Slumbering Dragon (Neutral)Dragon of Greed (Neutral)Cinderbelly (Legion)Crippled Bone Drake (Coven)Sprouting Tree (Tinykin)Astris (Tinykin)Content ChangesCombat overlay (Press and hold Tab while in combat) now includes max life and doom of each unit on the board so you know whether you can heal a unit furtherXP Bar now updated to a more detailed CircleProvisions UI completely updatedNow shows the rarity of a provisionNow shows the tier of a provisionUpgrade UI ImprovementsBug fixesFINALLY fixed breaking saves after new content is added (however there may be one more break with this patch sorry!)Fix to Mulligan breaking sometimesBackground fixes to shuffling decks, card IDs, and other thingsFixed when you use the final use of an ability and a glow remainsJoin us and give your feedback here: https://discord.gg/s9G4aHnXjKSandworm Entertainment

Demo Update 3 - Major Content Release

Dev Log - Update 3We’re heavy into the preparation for PAX Australia now, please join us if you can! We’ve fixed a lot of the longer term bugs now and feel combat is feeling the most solid it ever has been. We really wanted to give you the opportunity to play some of the latest cards we’ve made, especially strengthening the Legion’s heal builds and higher curve Coven builds. We’re playing around with increasing the number of activate abilities that are available to you each turn, there has been quite a bit of feedback around “let me do more on my turn” and have been coding some much more complex effects. A few examples of this are:Flank, where you now have significantly more control over where move your cards on the battlefield. This new keyword is incredibly strong and has been added to 5 cards this update. These cards can switch spaces and make for stronger control against the Horde.Conductor, he is able to trigger the on death effect of an allied unit. This was a bit of a technical difficulty for us but finally got it done, now the code’s there we can do quite a few of these extra triggers.Bell of Mercy, basically adds onto your effects. So when you heal there’s an additional effect, when you cast a spell there is one too, etc. Really keen to see some of the combos you cook up with this! We’ve also taken steps to reduce RNG (there are still more coming) by removing conjure from provisions. They now determine which card reward you get when you get the provision, not when you use them. You can right click to see what you got, but now they have 0 RNG during combat. This will allow you to save the ones you need and not restart combat if you get a bad one! Super excited for this, and there’s a few more changes we’re not ready to talk about yet that have even more RNG reduction.Lastly, the Nox have been in the back of our minds for ages and are now finally in the Demo. They have settled near the pride lands of the Taurus and are arch enemies. They use spears and swarm tac...

Demo Update 0.7.04 - Tinykin Released!

Dev Log - v0.7.04We’re fast approaching the release of the game and are wanted to give everybody the opportunity to play the Tinykin before we head into our crunch for PAX Australia.Thank you to everybody with the amazing feedback provided. There have been a few things that have stood out to us quite a bit:Main FeedbackWe’re not hitting the mark with the Tutorial. We’re going to work on this better, the game is SOOO much deeper than it seems on the surface and we haven’t done a good way to teach people how to use all the resources available to them. Examples are the Tab button shows all conditions on the board at a glance, or some impactful stacking ones are above your lifeforce as well. You can see the Horde’s deck and your own (not in order of course) but most people miss this. We’re going to work on the tutorial a lot more for full release and give more insight on the resources you have.Killed cards not going away. Please give more insight too us on this one! We have found one bug and are in the midst of fixing it (but won’t be for this patch) however, there’s another sneaky one with curse we cannot replicate. Share us your logs on discord or step out what you did so we can track this one down!!The combats are too difficult. This is a tough one, because this is intentional, we want a difficult game (it’s what we enjoy) and we have included 11 difficulty levels (normal + 10 corruption tiers). At this stage with our own testing and the alpha testing we feel it’s likely in the right spot, once you’ve done a few runs, you’ll pick up on how to defeat the Dandelions and Statues etc. Tier 4 and 5 combats (t4’s the only one available in the demo) are designed to be extremely difficult. Just as another note, both us developers have beaten every single combat multiple times, if we can’t beat it we won’t release it!Please keep leaving feedback and recording your gameplay, we watch literally ALL of it to understand how people play and understand the game.Demo Change Log - v0...
