About this game
Vice Versa is a minimalist yet deeply strategic card-stacking challenge where every choice tightens the tension. Play solo or cooperate online with up to 5 players as you battle through two sides, an ascending side and a descending side, trying to place your entire deck before you run out of legal moves. One mistake, one unlucky hand, or one hesitation can end the run.

Colors Mode
A clean, approachable ruleset that quickly becomes a razor-sharp puzzle.
You will work with cards numbered 1 through 10 across four colors, placing them onto rising and falling stacks. The twist is that matching colors reset the stack, allowing you to bend the numbering rules and keep the run alive.
Each player holds 2 cards, or 4 cards in solo play
You must play at least 1 card each turn

Tens Mode
A more demanding mode designed for players who want deeper coordination.
You are now juggling 100 cards, 4 stacks, and a reset rule based on jumping exactly ten numbers up or down. These jumps allow dramatic reversals that can rescue the group or open new traps.

You must play at least 2 cards each turn
The mode features 2 ascending stacks and 2 descending stacks
Precision planning becomes critical
Tens rewards bold plays, calculated gambles, and communication under pressure.
A Cooperative Nail-Biter
Whether playing alone or with friends, Vice Versa delivers a constant push and pull between survival and collapse. You will celebrate perfect resets, yell at unlucky draws, and fight to empty the final hand before the deck defeats you.

Vice Versa out now!
Hey everyone!Sorry for the release delay from the 16th to now. Where I live was right in the center of those recent tornados, in addition had some personal life things come up that delayed me being able to support any issues that might appear. So I delayed release to now. The game is out now for purchase! I'm super excited to see people start playing the game and hopefully having a blast with their friends. If you played the demo there is now Tens mode for you to enjoy! It's incredibly difficult by the way, so good luck!The demo will remain to have multiplayer for Colors for a few days. Next Fest is Here!
Oh my, it's Steam Next Fest! Hey everyone,I'm super excited for a bunch of people to try out Vice Versa over the next week. I can't wait to hear everyone's feedback and make adjustments as needed. I spent the weekend furiously building controller support, so give it a try and tell me what you think. Hopefully it feels good to play with Mouse, Controller, or even on the Steam Deck for everyone. My only tip would be trying to get your friends on a call and play together. The game is fun as a solitaire card game, but it really shines with a full party of 5. Demo is Out Now!
Welcome to Vice Versa! Hey everyone, In 2012, Fishagon was created as a tabletop game studio by me and two of my high-school friends. Over time it became the video game studio it is today. This will mark the 5th Steam title released as a studio and the 6th overall commercial release. I am excited to return to card games with this digital release of Vice Versa. Over the past year I have been developing a new framework that I call Card Engine. Hopefully, it will enable me to make more card games in the future! For now though the focus is on this new title. The demo releasing today includes the "easy" mode, Colors, and can be played with up to 4 other friends (or strangers). The full game will include an additional Tens mode which drastically increases the difficulty. Once the full game releases, only solitaire play of Colors will be available in the demo. My main hope for this demo is to engage with the community, get feedback on the design and interface, fix any bugs you guys can find, and overall improve the game leading up to release.
