About the Game
Star Wars: Galactic Racer™ is a runs-based, high-stakes reinvention of racing born in the lawless Outer Rim of the Star Wars™ galaxy.
The Empire’s grip on the galaxy has finally broken, and with its fall comes a new obsession: speed. As the New Republic struggles to rebuild, gambling, entertainment, and glory fuel a booming underground.
Out of this chaos, The Galactic League is born: an unsanctioned racing circuit where syndicates sponsor pilots, fortunes are won and lost in seconds, and only the bold survive.
No Force. No prophecy. Just skill, strategy, and the will to rise.

Slam, shunt, and takedown rivals across varied circuits as you pilot landspeeders, speeder bikes, skim speeders, and podracers. The greater the risk, the greater the reward.
Join The Galactic League - an unsanctioned racing circuit born in the lawless Outer Rim. Become Shade, a lone racer chasing revenge and glory.
Pilot different classes of repulsorcraft each with distinct physics and playstyles. Build a ride that showcases your style and gives you a competitive edge.
Ride solo through a story-driven campaign of shifting alliances or brave strategic PvP grudge matches where reputation rides with you.
Prove yourself through intense rivalries and escalating challenges. Every choice shapes your prospects as you build your status in The Galactic League.

Feel the Speed: Game Feel in STAR WARS: Galactic Racer™
“Game feel” is one of the most important yet hardest-to-define aspects of video game development, especially in racing games. We spoke with Fuse’s Game Director Bill Lane and Design Director Mark Bridges about their approach to physics, responsiveness, impact, and what makes every track exciting to play. Meet the developers: Before Fuse, our Game Director Bill Lane studied Engineering at University. After realizing civil engineering wasn’t the passion he wanted to pursue, he landed a role at EA as a QA Tester and worked his way into Criterion, a studio he had been a fan of for many years. From there, he used his engineering knowledge to get a role in Game Design, working on Burnout Paradise, Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit and Most Wanted, before eventually leaving to join Fuse Games. As our Game Director, Bill oversees the design across the entire game, focusing on the long form systems like campaign, multiplayer, and overarching gameplay. Our Design Director, Mark Bridges, focuses on the second-to-second experiences of the game, i.e. the handling, racing, abilities, parts and upgrades, and how they all interact with each other. Similarly to Bill, Mark worked at Criterion before Fuse, but his first role in the industry was with Firemint, a studio in Australia. Back in the UK, Mark eventually got a role as Handling Designer, which was incredibly well suited to his Physics degree: “I didn’t realise how highly applicable my degree in physics would be in terms of a methodical scientific approach to breaking down experiences. That, also tailored with my interest with amateur dramatics and theatre, made me realise that this was a career path I wanted to go down because it was a useful mix of art and science. I've got to apply my logical thinking brain but also think about player experiences and the emotions that they're feeling and how I can create systems to engage that.” {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/45891947/9c38a348b401ed7bc50992bd05513bae945dbcc6.jpg Game Director Bill Lane (right...Read full article on Community Announcements (secretmodemaddie)AnnouncementsOfficial
Under the Hood with Hibi - Episode 2: Speeder Bikes
Our marvelous mechanic Hibi is back again with more automotive insights for aspiring racing pilots looking to find their perfect vehicle! For anyone who's unfamiliar with this enthusiastic Ardennian, Hibi is the engineer who upgrades Shade's vehicles in the Paddock and occasionally adds an experimental part or two to keep things interesting. In the second episode of Under the Hood with Hibi, speeder bikes are taking center stage as Hibi talks Shade through their features, benefits, and build possibilities. Check out the second episode of Under the Hood with Hibi today. Are you interested in racing the vehicles that Hibi affectionately describes as being "like concussion missiles with handlebars"? If that sounds a bit too precarious for your playstyle, then you might want to consider one of the Galactic League's other vehicles. Watch Episode 1 to learn all about landspeeders and stay tuned for Episode 3 of Under the Hood with Hibi.Read full article on Community Announcements (secretmodemaddie)AnnouncementsOfficial
STAR WARS: Galactic Racer™ has Gone Gold
Star Wars: Galactic Racer™ has officially Gone Gold! {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/45891947/dc5c8a74987012c8c30b21c6b40f88a2b01a8c4c.jpg But what does "Going Gold" actually mean and why is this such a major milestone? Here's what Matt Webster, CEO and co-founder of Fuse Games, had to say about this achievement: "Going Gold is a traditional term in gaming that denotes when a game is finished and ready for release to manufacture. It refers to the days where a Gold disc was created as a master to then press physical copies. For a team, it's a significant milestone. It represents all the effort, talent, sacrifice, and learning that's poured in to creating a video game. The finalling process in development is a real challenge. We're wired to see all that's wrong with our creation and want to make everything even better but, as we look ahead to release, we're thrilled with the game that we've made as an expression of the vision that we brought together just after we started Fuse in 2023. We want to bring the best expression of our vision that we can to players, bringing art and science together to get through our quality targets, through the QA and certification processes at publishers and first party partners to reach Gold is worth a celebration and so we're sharing that with you all today. We can't wait to see and hear what you think of the game we've built." Star Wars: Galactic Racer will be launching worldwide on October 6th and is available to pre-order today!Read full article on Community Announcements (secretmodemaddie)Press Coverage
Star Wars: Galactic Racer's multiplayer 'tour' mode is a chaotic arcade racer spliced with a MOBA, and that somehow works brilliantly
I had the pleasure of playing Star Wars: Galactic Racer recently—it's an upcoming racing game by Fuse Games, a studio filled with Burnout alumni, and while I was intrigued by the roguelike elements of its singleplayer campaign, the real standout to me is its online multiplayer, which is doing something that I would otherwise call ill-advised: Making it a MOBA. Sort of... Read more.Read full article on PC Gamer (Harvey Randall)Press Coverage
Star Wars: Galactic Racer's singleplayer is a clever roguelike gauntlet I could easily sink hours into
I recently had a chance to play a healthy chunk of the upcoming Star Wars: Galactic Racer, a—you guessed it—racing game where you can hop behind the seat of a handful of different vehicles: Landspeeders, a skim speeder, and speeder-bikes. There's also, naturally, podracing... Read more.Read full article on PC Gamer (Harvey Randall)
