Waking Nightmares is a top-down survival horror game.
Fend off enemies using your gun, cursor and flashlight to survive.
Boost yourself using different items that you will find as you explore The Negative.
Manage your inventory using your cursor, and use items whenever you need, make sure to be picky though, you only have 6 slots.
Don't run out of HP or you'll be begging for the pain to stop.

THE ROADMAP IS HERE.
Before you all proceed further into The Negative, you're gonna need to take a step back and learn some necessary context for your case.Before we release the first version of Early Access, we're gonna be working on a FREE UPDATE for the DEMO of the game.This update will include a brand new area: The Nullworks.This area is the first one of the game, meaning that to reach the Black Market, you're going to need to beat this one first.The Nullworks will serve as a tutorial area for the game, replacing the current placeholder tutorial that is in place in the current DEMO.This update will also add a brand new intro that will provide context to the game's story, and we'll also be doing a revamp to the inventory system, but don't worry, the core of the system will remain untouched: 6 slots, 1 for your weapon, 1 for your reserve, and the dragging system to tie everything together, we're just planning to make it a little bit cleaner, as well as adding some new stuff that y'all will enjoy!In addition, this update will also bring a revamped "chase" scene to the Black Market, turning it into something much more different than a chase, although equally as cool, but not as frustrating.After the prologue update is released, we'll release the next major update, along with Early Access, which will have a new area for The Negative, as well as some new creatures and mechanics, such as overloaded items.After the release of Early Access, we'll be working on more areas of the game, which will add new creatures, mechanics, items, and the ending of the game.But there's still a long way until the finale, so for now...Enjoy the ride!We'll be updating the Roadmap as we progress through updates, and will let you know whenever we plan to release a major update.Read full article on Community Announcements (ElMasterDev)
