Adventure · 2026 · More free games

Stream Train challenges you and five others to navigate the eerie Uncanny Valley. Grow your audience by performing daring stunts and outsmarting cryptid creatures, all while racing against time to survive.

About this game

Livestream your experience exploring an abandoned railroad with your friends in the hopes of going viral. Investigate derelict buildings, document strange creatures, and prank your friends to keep the audience engaged in the stream because you won’t make it through the Uncanny Valley without their support and donations.

Keep Chat Happy

Chatters will react to whatever they see on the livestream, pose challenges, and make requests. They will also tell you when they are bored. If you keep the content flowing, chatters will keep the donations flowing.

All Aboard!

Take control of an old steam train and explore the Uncanny Valley at your own pace. Up to 6 players can squad up, customise their avatar, and head out in search of internet virality.

Don't Die

All sorts of cryptids, ghosts, and strange creatures can be found in the forest. Try not to make them angry or at least film it when you do.

    Playtest FAQ

Hi Everyone! We have had an amazing response to the playtest signup so far and we can't wait to get a bunch of feedback from players later in the month! This is our first time running a test like this on Steam and it seems like I have dropped the ball with some of the info. We had a few questions on our Discord and socials that I wanted to clear up here for everyone. How do I gain access to the playtest? Please request access to the playtest via the Stream Train Steam page. We will be granting access to the playtest on September 11. You will get an email from Steam if you have been granted access. How long will the playtest be active? We will be opening the playtest on Friday the 11th of September at 10am CEST and closing it on Monday the 14th of September at 5pm CEST. What if I gain access, but my friends don't? Any player that is granted access to the playtest will be able to invite up to 4 friends to play with them. You will be able to see how many invite you have remaining on the Stream Train Playtest page in your Steam library. What languages will be available? The playtest will be English only. We will be localising Stream Train for launch (languages are tbd), but we didn't have the ability to have the game localised in time for the playtest event. Can I livestream or create content during the playtest? Yes, content creators should feel free to create content of Stream Train if they are granted access to the playtest. Get in touch with us on Social Media so we can check out your stream/video! Can I reach out for specialised access as a content creator? The playtest is primarily for user feedback so we can make adjustments in the lead up to launch (rather than marketing). We plan on reaching out to streamers in the days leading up to launch for a proper marketing push. That being said, we are open to sending out some keys to streamers. Watching an uncut livestream of players trying the game is a great way for us to learn. Feel free to reach out to marketing(at)...

    Introducing Stream Train!

Hi everyone! We are excited to introduce you to Stream Train, a co-op horror adventure about livestreaming your trip down an abandoned rail road with your friends. Squad up with up to 5 friends to investigate strange places, document cryptid creatures, do dangerous stunts, and prank each other, whatever it takes to keep the audience growing. Keep the Chat Entertained Grab the camera and start filming content! The chat will tell you what they want to see and respond to what you film in real time. The livestream system works by keeping track of objects and events that are marked as interesting. If something interesting is seen by the camera it is registered by the game and passed on to the chat system for them to respond. We have always wanted to make a game with livestreaming/content creation as a core mechanic and we think that we are really making something special with Stream Train. Stay Updated We will be posting Steam News Updates whenever we have something substantial to update you with (approximately once a month), remember to wishlist and follow Stream Train on Steam so you never miss anything big.
