About this game
Hi, I'm Tatiana, a solo developer behind Tulip Season. This game blends my favorite genres: farming sim and incremental games. I hope I made the incremental part satisfying and not disturbing the overall wholesomeness.

Features
🌷 Beauty quantified. Wilhelmina has one ambition - to make her field the most beautiful in the kingdom. Beauty of the field is the number that you grow in the game. All other elements contribute to this main focus.
🌷 Villagers with personality. You neighbours are nice folks. They love to chat and participate in your field life. Their small requests guide you through various field upgrades, and their gifts bump up the beauty score.
🌷 Idle mode built in. Designed from the start to work both as an active game and a hands-off idle
experience.
🌷 Gradual complexity. A progression tree introduces new tulip types, tools, and mechanics step by step, keeping things cozy.

Plant bulbs, water them, and help them flourish into colourful tulips. Every day the tulips are scored for beauty. The more you score, the sooner you level up.

Discover new tulip types as your farm develops. Breed flowers to reveal fresh colour mixes and rare double blooms that add depth and beauty to your designs.

Check in to plan your next pattern, or step away and let your tulips grow on their own. Your field keeps evolving even while you’re not playing.

Chat with your neighbours who stop by your farm and learn their stories. Completing small favours for them brings decoration rewards and a few friendly smiles along the way.

Demo is back live!
Hey all!I have made and, to the extent of my capabilities, tested the changes to the gameplay that I was talking about in the last post. Now, you get the points from blooming flowers every day, instead of reaching new maximum of beauty. I hope this makes the game simpler and more enjoyable. I also fixed a few bugs and added a couple small quality-of-life features. What is in the demo:20 levels to progress through (out of 100+ in the game)Chats and small quests from villagers that reward you with the field decorationsFlower breedingRead full article on Community Announcements (kartashovata)AnnouncementsOfficial
Demo is down, but playtest available
Hey everyone! An update with respect to the latest Steam page changes.About two weeks ago, I released my first Steam Demo. I was quite happy and hopeful about it, because the recent playtest data was very promising, as well as the survey feedback. However, the demo results so far showed me some crucial flaws in the game design which I plan to rectify. Therefore, the current demo doesn't represent my intent anymore, so I blocked it for the time being. For the next couple of weeks I will be running playtests instead, so that by the upcoming Nextfest the Demo is new and shiny.Still hopeful,Tatiana.Read full article on Community Announcements (kartashovata)AnnouncementsOfficial

Devlog: what's growing
Hello everyone!I have just remembered that people can make devlog updates on Steam, so here I am! A lot of things were done since the launch of the page, but the most important ones are the progression system, idle mode, and new field beauty calculation.Field beauty calculationMy favorite decision of the game so far. The inspiration came from playtesting the game among friends and them commenting on some points that made me thinking how could I make the field beauty calculation clearer and more rewarding. I hope compression doesn't kill it entirely:Progression systemOn levelling up player will be able to unlock a lot of things: flowers, decorations, various perks and features. Many of those are not implemented yet, but the system itself works! And the plan is that the progress tree will contain at least 40 elements.Idle modeThe game now can play without you making any actions! You set the rules, sit back and relax watching how the character does all the work day by day. You'll need to come back occasionally and plant the flowers to blossom in specific times and patterns, so that you can get a higher score and level up. PlaytestsI am running small playtests with friends and family before putting the game out for the big Steam. However, if you are curious to participate early, and also get more regular updates - you are welcome to join the game discord ^_^ https://discord.gg/dqDa6HgY3FRead full article on Community Announcements (kartashovata)
