  Hey penguins! 🐧 Update v1.1.3 is live! This one brings a big batch of improvements to Steam Deck and gamepad support, save safety, UI navigation, building, fishing balance, and map exploration. Map & ExplorationIncreased the size of the minimap.Discoverable locations and points of interest now appear as question marks on the map until you find them.Removed minimap zoom to keep navigation simpler and more consistent. Gamepad & Steam DeckImproved overall gamepad support.Improved Steam Deck compatibility.Added a virtual keyboard for easier text input.Improved navigation between UI elements with a gamepad.Updated static input prompts so they now display your current keybind instead of fixed prompts like Press "E".Input prompts now properly adapt to keyboard, gamepad, and Steam Deck controls.Fixed an issue where Left Click could accidentally be assigned while rebinding controls by adding a short input delay.Building and NPC placement can now be controlled using a gamepad. Save SystemUpdated the save system to make your progress safer.The game now continuously maintains a backup of your save file.If your main save becomes corrupted, for example due to a power loss while saving, the game will now attempt to recover from the backup instead of overwriting your progress.   Hey penguins! 🐧 Update v1.1.2.2 is live! This is a small fishing-focused patch with a few visual, audio, balance, and animation improvements. ImprovementsUpdated the position of the UI that appears after catching a fish and made a few small visual improvements.Fishing animations now work while your penguin is sitting.Fishing reel sounds are now properly controlled by the SFX volume setting.Updated fishing rod prices.FixesFixed an issue where the fishing rod could sometimes disappear.   v1.1.2 - Fishing Overhaul

  Hey penguins! 🐧 Update v1.1.2 is live! This is one of our biggest fishing updates yet, bringing new fishing rods, fish traits, mastery progression, new animations, legendary fish QTEs, inventory improvements, localization updates, and plenty of fixes across the game. Fishing System & New MechanicsAdded several new fishing rods designed for different fish types and playstyles, including the Deep Sea Rod, Fast Rod, Lucky Rod, Monster Hunter Rod, Collector Rod, and more.Each fishing rod now has its own strengths, including differences in catch speed, depth capability, and power.Added a new Fish Trait system. Fish can now have unique characteristics that affect things like movement speed, resistance, and depth.Added a new Fishing Mastery system that progresses as you continue catching fish.Added a new timing and reflex-based QTE minigame for catching Legendary fish and massive sea creatures.Added new warnings and UI indicators while deep-sea fishing to help show whether your current equipment is suitable for the fish you are trying to catch.Increased the fishing catch area to make the minigame feel smoother.Rebalanced fish catch rates, resistance, and overall difficulty. Fishing ImprovementsReduced the movement range of Epic and Legendary fish, making them easier to catch.Buffed the Fish Catch Speed and Fishing Rod Movement Speed upgrades, allowing you to react and move faster during fishing.Added a short cooldown after catching a fish with Left Click, so the catch screen no longer closes immediately.
