Welcome to KALE: Grakonian Campaign. A 2D arcade-style spaceship game that feels like it time-warped straight outta 1984.
KALE is a side-scrolling, neon-drenched, voice-acted sci-fi space shooter with a full-blown original story about big ugly aliens, cosmic criminals, lunar loves and one renegade pilot with a license to pew-pew.
You play as Kale Starborn, a sarcastic and cheeky anti-hero with a mysterious past, and a ship named "The Justiceblaster".
Your mission? Save Moon22F from the evil mega-corporation of the Grakonians—who are totally not a parody of every 80s villain conglomerate ever. Pinky promise ;)

You will be able to use dual controls, so during missions, you can choose whether or not to use the mouse.But I've got a fantastic update for those who prefer console comfort: Xbox Controller Support is LIVE for Missions! That's right. You can experience the most fun and action-packed parts of the campaign with the smooth, familiar feel of your Xbox controller.I'm also working to bring that full controller experience to the menus as well. That way, you'll be navigating everything from start to finish with your gamepad. I should be able to implement this feature before the official game release.
