About this game
Hoosegow: Prison Survival is a choice-based survival game with roguelike elements, where your goal is to survive in a brutal prison environment. Every decision has consequences, every playthrough is unique, and one mistake can cost you your life.
At the start, you receive a randomly generated inmate with a unique set of stats, a crime, and a sentence. You must balance survival, maintaining your reputation, and achieving the objectives of your chosen game mode.
CHOICE AND CONSEQUENCE SYSTEM
Every event offers 2-4 action options.
Decisions affect your stats, rank, relationships with inmates, available events and dialogues.
Use items for guaranteed success in critical situations.
GAME SCENARIOS
Classic. Survive until the end of your sentence, at any cost.
Career. Climb from the bottom of the prison food chain to the top or die trying.
Hopeless. No matter your rank or status, just try to survive at any cost.

Hey folks! The Hoosegow: Prison Survival demo just broke out.Thanks to everyone who took part in the playtests — based on your feedback we tuned the balance, added new event types, and even threw in a couple of features we hadn't originally planned.The demo includes the Classic mode and roughly 15% of the game's content. We spent a long time thinking about how to dress our inmates. We considered options: business formal, casual, maybe something from Gucci. In the end, we arrived at the one true answer — stripes.Yes, that timeless classic. Black and white, horizontal, for people who now have plenty of time on their hands.We developed a full lineup: a tank top for those who work out in the yard; a polo for the white-collar guys who embezzled their way in; a button-up shirt — strictly for those who still consider themselves innocent; and a plain t-shirt for everyone else.The collection is called "Striped Season." We've finished work on the PC UI
If you played the mobile version of Hoosegow — you won't recognize the game. This is not a port and not a visual refresh. We rethought every screen for monitors and gamepad, and the result is a completely different experience. The game is deeper, more informative, and more intuitive — you now have everything you need to make informed decisions instead of acting on blind luck.The mobile version was built for quick sessions and a small screen. The PC version is a different pace and a different level of immersion. There's room to think between events. Mechanics that used to sit in the background now work at full strength.We'll show the details in upcoming logs.
