About this game

Ghost Node is a third-person stealth hacking game where every system is both a threat and an opportunity.
You play as a freelance hacker infiltrating high-security corporate facilities, using cunning, precision, and a versatile drone to outsmart advanced surveillance. Observe, plan, and execute your infiltrations through a network of interconnected systems, where creativity is your greatest weapon.

Link and rewire devices to open new paths, create distractions, and turn the corporation’s defenses against itself. Hack cameras, lights, doors, and even enemy weapons to reshape each mission to fit your strategy. Every encounter is a puzzle and every solution, uniquely yours.

Move through shadows, avoid detection, and manipulate the environment to stay one step ahead of corporate patrols. Control lights to expand the darkness, create safe paths, or plunge entire areas into shadow.

One wrong move can set the entire system against you alarms blaring, patrols converging, defenses activating. When plans collapse, you’ll need to think fast, adapt on the fly, and use the chaos to your advantage. Every failure reveals new insights, every setback a chance to find unconventional paths.

Accept contracts, gather intel, and negotiate with clients through your secure interface. The world’s most dangerous jobs, all managed remotely. Build your reputation in the shadows and uncover the hidden agendas behind every contract.

The Detection System in Ghost Node
In Ghost Node, stealth is heavily connected to the environment around you. When an area is illuminated, guards can detect the player almost instantly. Staying in sight under direct light is extremely dangerous and usually ends badly. However, darkness completely changes how enemies behave. When the lights go out, enemies lose most of their vision range. A green cone appears beneath them, showing their limited field of view while the area remains dark. This allows players to understand enemy visibility at a glance and plan their movements more carefully.Light manipulation becomes an important part of infiltration.Using the drone, players can hack and connect devices together to create opportunities. Turning off lights can distract guards, open paths, or create safe zones for stealth takedowns.Guards will also react dynamically to darkness. If a room suddenly loses power, they may move to investigate or try to restore the lights themselves. This creates situations where players can manipulate enemy behavior instead of simply avoiding patrols. The goal is to make stealth feel readable, tactical, and highly interactive without removing tension from the player.Read full article on Community Announcements (breixoam)AnnouncementsOfficial
