Navigate the gritty streets of Prohibition-era New York as you manage 20 rackets, gamble at The Action, and outmaneuver rival hitmen. Build your criminal empire from the bottom up in Streetlight Syndicate, an engaging story-driven incremental game from BeagleGuy.

About this game

BUILD YOUR SYNDICATE. EARN YOUR LEGACY.

Start with a few dollars and nothing but ambition. Build a network of criminal operations across Prohibition-era New York, work the odds at The Action, fight rival hitmen, and climb through 10 ascensions toward the top of the organization.

Streetlight Syndicate combines idle and incremental progression with a complete noir crime story. Your decisions shape the legacy you leave behind - and if you become the Don, your completed campaign can continue in Empire Mode.

  • Build and upgrade 20 rackets with unique owners and stories

  • Discover over 5,000 words of character dialogue

  • Progress through 10 ascensions with narrative cutscenes

  • Fight rival hitmen using an expanding arsenal

  • Play three gambling minigames that unlock as you rise

  • Spend Notoriety across four permanent campaign skill trees

  • Reach multiple endings based on your decisions

  • Continue after the good ending in the optional Empire Mode

BUILD YOUR CRIMINAL NETWORK

Invest in 20 illegal operations spread across the city. Run speakeasies, gambling halls, smuggling operations, protection rackets, and more.

Every operation is run by someone with a story to tell. Spend Influence to uncover their histories and earn permanent bonuses while learning about the people building your organization.

WORK THE ACTION

Track the Ace in Three Card Monte. Place your bets at the horse track, where insider tips and fixed races can tilt the odds in your favor. Rise high enough to operate your own Numbers Racket.

The games are not there to empty your wallet. Play the angles correctly and The Action can bankroll your next expansion.

ASCEND THE HIERARCHY

When your operation reaches its limits, Ascend.

Your rackets reset, but your reputation remains. Earn Notoriety and spend it on permanent upgrades in the Ascension Market:

Composure: Delegate work, automate collections, and identify profitable opportunities.

Connections: Protect your fortune, expand your network, and keep the right people paid.

Capo: Strengthen your crew and master the violence required to survive.

Chicanery: Improve the odds, unlock harder games, and expand your gambling operation.

After every ascension, Don Salvatore Russo judges your performance. Whether he sees a worthy successor or a dangerous liability depends on the choices you make.

SETTLE ACCOUNTS

Starting at Ascension 1, rival hitmen begin coming for your organization. Upgrade your arsenal from the Colt 1911 to the Thompson submachine gun and defeat increasingly dangerous opponents before they dismantle everything you built.

A COMPLETE STORY - AND AN OPTIONAL POSTGAME

Your campaign has a beginning, middle, and end across 10 ascensions. Your decisions determine whether you build a lasting legacy or leave behind a trail of betrayal.

Earn the good ending and become the Don to unlock Empire Mode.

Your completed syndicate is preserved while rival hitmen return in escalating cycles. Earn more Notoriety, purchase long-term Empire expansions, raise racket and weapon limits, and continue growing for as long as you choose.

The city is waiting.

The City Never Sleeps: Empire Mode Is Here

Since launch, one request has come through clearly in the feedback: after becoming the Don, many players wanted to remain in the city and continue building their syndicate. Streetlight Syndicate was designed as a complete story with a definitive ending. That has not changed; but now, earning that ending can open the door to something more. ENTER EMPIRE MODEEarn the good ending and become the Don to unlock Empire Mode, an optional postgame that preserves your completed campaign and lets your organization continue growing. In Empire Mode, you can: Face all nine rival hitmen in repeating, increasingly difficult cyclesEarn scaling Notoriety from defeated rivalsPurchase four long-term Empire expansion ranksRaise every racket’s maximum level by 10 with each Empire rankUnlock two additional purchasable gun levels with each rankContinue purchasing any owner stories you missed during the campaignSwitch between Action and Chill music while running your empireThe campaign still has a beginning, middle, and end. Empire Mode is what comes afterward for players who want to keep going. THREE SAVE SLOTSThe update also introduces three independent save slots. Your existing full-game save will be placed into Slot 1 automatically. If that save has already earned the good ending, Empire Mode will be available immediately. The additional slots can be used to pursue alternate endings, complete achievements, or start again without sacrificing your original syndicate.
