About this game

Maker Gameplay
Mythic Kart Maker is a fantasy Kart game where you make your own tracks while driving or from a top down perspective, & then share those tracks with your friends.

Racing Gameplay
Gameplay is like a mix of the racing games from a certain bandicoot & a hedgehog that loves adventure.

Art
Reminiscent of games from the 32 bit era - 3D tracks with pre-rendered billboard sprites. Easily add (not replace) your own character skins through included modding resources.

Music
Boppin' fantasy tracks that sound like they're ripped from a lost game of the 90's. You can also add your own custom music to your tracks.

Anu Cave - Content Update 2
Well, it's week 3, and I have another juicy content update for you guys. This time Kart Maker is delving into the home of the ancient ant people. It's interesting to me how, in ancient south western North America, there was an insect-humanoid called "Anu" (ant people), & in the ancient Sumerian middle east, there was also a species of insect-humanoid called the Anunnaki. This is part of our real-life human history, much like a lot of what is talked about in the lore of Kart Maker. I wonder if these two species could be connected?Updates:Added - Cave Theme (Home of the Ant People)Cave ShrubCave Bush3 Cave Rocks2 Stalactites2 Stalagmites1 Hanging Ceiling Torch2 Track TypesCave SmoothCave RockyAdded - Split pathsThese allow you to reliably make shortcuts while still finishing the trackAdded - 1 new Track to conquer (Anu Cave)Added - Lap Count ChangingMaker>Track>Options>CourseAdded - Pressing B or \\ while in a mission reverses cameraFixed - After adding a player and removing it, the sky background would be cut off.Fixed - You could pass the finish line from far away & it wouldn't count under certain circumstancesScreenshots:Read full article on Community Announcements (Dream Mix)Patch NotesOfficial
Keyboard Glyphs, Visual/Lighting Fixes, & Gameplay Fixes
Hey Kart Makers,Today I created the glyphs for the Keyboard inputs, & added them to the game (when you don't have a controller plugged in).Over the last week I also noticed that the lighting (when dark) was a little too bright. I fixed up my lighting shader, & things should look a lot cleaner now - with higher contrast, which is really what I was initially going for. There were some small fixes that I wanted to make as well.Changes:Added - Keyboard glyphs, which appear if you don't have a controller plugged inFixed / Improved - Lighting contrastFixed - You can pick up items while you're dead in battleFixed - Dagger Rotates when you through it with no enemy in your sights (but one is behind you)Fixed - Player's light is still visible when dead (if it's dark)Read full article on Community Announcements (Dream Mix)
