About this game
Overview
You are a triangle in a hand-drawn world. Roll around and encounter other triangles.
Golden platforms are your best friend. They will always get you to where you want to go.
Unfortunately, sometimes they need to be persuaded by a nearby button or lever...
Must you be confined to remaining a triangle? Certainly not!
You have the power to change your shape simply by picking up additional line segments or dropping ones you currently have.
Changing your segment count will be useful as you travel across the land...

The Living Threeangle v0.4.0
Hello everybody! What's New?The time has arrived! There has been significant progress towards the procedural level generator.Improved musicNew level chunksNew level generatorsOther than backend work towards new gamemodes, there are also a few new features:Terrain backgrounds can now change during a level, instead of only being set at the startMuch better music for the demo levelPartial support for touch screensA super secret settingOf course, several bugs were fixed, notably with the demo and procedural levels. What's Next? There's still more I can do with the procedural levels, but my vision for how I want to levels to be built will be a big change compared to how levels are built now. I'll work on that system at some point, but want to spend more time on other things next.Experimental Map Pack 2For as much as I want to jump into another set of story levels, it would be best to wait a little longer. The immediate future comprises of new experimental levels, which have been on-hold while I improve procedural levels.Arcade Mode?As fun as it would be to have a dedicated arcade mode, I am not yet sure how to tackle it. So long as I can solve a few logistical issues, as if this were played on a real arcade cabinet, then I hope to roll out an arcade mode within the next couple of big updates.ConclusionThat's all it for now. Any and all feedback is appreciated.Until next time!Read full article on Community Announcements (Triple Helix and a Half, LLC)Patch NotesOfficial
The Living Threeangle v0.3.6
Hello everybody! This is a small update, particularly aimed at improving the third story level. It also fixes the level selection gates on the main menu not opening when they should.Work was started on the procedural level generator version 2, but it's still not done yet. There might be one more small update coming soon, but if not, then the next update for sure will feature the new content I have planned.Stay tuned!Read full article on Community Announcements (Triple Helix and a Half, LLC)AnnouncementsOfficial
The Living Threeangle v0.3.5
Hello everybody! This was a major stability update. Here are the changes since the v0.3.1 public release:There were a couple of spots within the story levels that proved to be problematic. Those have since been corrected. Multiple under-the-hood errors involving actor references have also been mitigated and battle cams are more likely to be disabled when they need to be.In other news...The Living Shapes Editor has been fully updated and the inability to load custom levels was also fixed. This means that future Editor progress can now be spent on getting it public-ready. Hurray!I still have plans to add newer generator versions for procedural levels, so as long as more bugs are not found and reported, I can keep making progress there in hopes of them being featured in the next update.See y'all later!Read full article on Community Announcements (Triple Helix and a Half, LLC)Patch NotesOfficial

Bug fixes ahoy!Reduced minimum shape damage from 25% of intended value to 5%.Improved the relationship between teleporting and battle cameras.Fixed the player not spawning as completely perpendicular to the camera in non-3D mode.Fixed improperly placed cubes sometimes appearing on the main menu (and maybe other places).A few other minor things. This will be the last update until new procedural generators are implemented, unless other bugs are found and reported. See you then!Read full article on Community Announcements (Triple Helix and a Half, LLC)AnnouncementsOfficial
The Living Threeangle v0.3.0
Hello everybody! There are several big additions, so let's go through them all.Experimental Map Pack 1There are several new levels based around random concepts I've had. The levels themselves have been ready for a while, but putting together the music for each of them was a slowdown. However, this is the second map pack after the Concept Development levels.Procedural LevelsThis was a gamemode I've had planned for a while, and now it has been implemented in a basic form. The current level generator (version 1) is rather basic, but it has all the necessary backend work to create more interesting levels later. Each generator version works independently from one another. This allows for new generators to be added in the future, without changing old ones. Like a seed from a particular generator? They should always generate the same way in the future!3D ModeThis is another gamemode I wanted to implement. It's not as feature-complete as the regular 2D gameplay, but the important functionality is present. There's currently a test level intended as a demonstration.New AchievementsSeveral achievements were added, most of which are related to the new content. And statistics-related ones now display current progress. This means you don't have to check the stats area in-game to check your progress toward some of the achievements.Other Things...As I worked on implementing the new gamemodes and map pack, plenty more bugs were fixed and improvements were made. Light from the sun and moon are also more accurate to the sky now and several new features are available for Editor content. The final story area was also prone to having softlocks, but that should be further mitigated by now.Linux Support! All previous testing with the Windows release running through Proton showed pretty good performance, back when the optimizations were made, particularly for the Steam Deck. But now, everything has been configured for a native Linux build. This is therefore the first release to fully support L...Read full article on Community Announcements (Triple Helix and a Half, LLC)
