Navigate treacherous labyrinths in Maze Creep!!, an action-packed co-op horror game where players must outwit the all-seeing Maze Creep and other threats. Developed by Bosskiller Studios, this 2026 title blends stealth with satire for a unique descent into madness.

About this game

You and your friends are test subjects sent by the Dastardly Intelligence Hub into the depths of Subject "The Maze", the creation of the horrifying creature Maze Creep... an extremely intelligent predator who can hear, track your movement, and even check hiding places.

Maze Creep!! is a stealth-focused satire of the horror genre, unafraid to exaggerate horror tropes to their most ridiculous extremes. Descend through an infinite series of procedurally generated mazes, scavenging resources while trying to find the central exit. Meanwhile, you are being hunted by Maze Creep, as well as 40+ additional monsters that get worse the deeper you push.

Maze Creep is very hard on it's intended difficulty, but offers lower difficulties and the ability to customize the experience to be even easier for a more casual experience. The lobby host is responsible for the level of difficulty, as the most brutal settings and the most relaxed are night and day.

Search each procedurally generated maze for doubloons to use in the shop, equipment to aid in navigation and escape deadly situations, and to find the exit to progress deeper. As you descend, stranger environments and more dangerous hazards will begin to appear. Tight spaces, aged locations, baffling things that seem like a joke, even casinos await.

Evade (sometimes) intelligent enemies which do not cheat to find you (unless they do), which can be tricked but not fought (unless they can). The game has a focus on stealth over confrontation against most enemies that create joint threats with one another that must be solved using your items, wits, and the environment. Most enemies are entirely organic, wandering the maze with zero knowledge of where players are, forced to find you through sight and sound.

Maze Creep can hear you sprint, jump, even speak, from any distance. Many other enemies can utilize hearing as well. Utilize stealth and speak softly to evade detection. If you can't, enjoy an infinite stamina pool, you'll need it.

Features:

  • Infinite procedurally generated mazes

  • Highly customizable gameplay experience through the game's custom mode

  • Large cast of enemies with a huge variety of behaviors

  • Breaks between the mazes where you can revive your friends, buy from the shopkeeper Mr. Long One, and other activities

  • Humorous deaths

  • Escalating difficulty

  • Surprisingly dark lore...

    Version 1.1.13

More changes to onboarding. - Changes Made the tutorial fully mandatory, forbidding access to the main menu until it is completed, since the information contained within is too important to allow players to skip it. Players who have played previously will be unaffected. Making the game even easier via the custom menu will still disable achievements. Enabled achievements on the Hard difficulty, so the new players wouldn't feel pressured to play Very Hard if they wouldn't enjoy that experience. Even though it pains me greatly to allow people to get achievements without being separated. Enabled achievements for player counts greater than 4. - Bug Fixes Fixed some past versions erroneously not being considered backwards-compatible. Version 1.1.11

I've decided to remove some of the difficulty-reducing settings from Party Mode, because it made it so that first playthroughs could easily become death-by-attrition where recovery to a good-feeling state just becomes impossible. Existing save files will be unaffected. - Changes Re-enabled "Delete Save File on Death" for Party Mode. Max strikes on Party Mode reduced from infinite to 20. - Bug Fixes Fixed an issue where Red Ghost's custom menu and extras menu entries would erroneously display information about The Jogger. Quick fix for certain breaks saving the previous Depth instead of the current one. Join the Discord to stay up to date, make suggestions, and report bugs Here!

    Version 1.1.10

I've been punished for my hubris skipping versions 1.1.2 - 1.1.4 by being forced to take on an ugly Version number to do these minor fixes: - Bug Fixes Fixed an issue where the Run gate would not open for players with greater than 21 strikes. Fixed an issue where certain explosion deaths incremented the incorrect statistics. Join the Discord to stay up to date, make suggestions, and report bugs Here!

Small changes to onboarding - Changes The game no longer launches you immediately into the tutorial, since some players did not realize they were in a tutorial and could not find out how to play the game.
