What's up with Felix's bad dream?

Although I haven't been asked about the game, considering I haven't spoken about it for a while, I'd still like to share something about it, despite the fact there's nothing to talk about. To be honest, nothing truly major has happened with this project in that long time, but it hasn't stood still either, and I can be happy about that. I'm happy that the game itself feels "complete" in the sense that I was finally able to finish the locations the way I envisioned (after a long time). But honestly, despite the game having a complete picture, there's still not much to do, given the lack of story-driven minigames with cutscenes. Roughly speaking, the game needs to be properly fleshed out, which isn't exactly a cheap endeavor. Despite this, I'd like to hope the game will be released sometime soon, but I can't promise it will be. I'm writing this post to generate some activity and serve as a sign, like "the calm before the storm." I could even say that this is probably the last post about the game, but again, I'm not promising anything.Basically, what you can do is continue following the game; maybe new screenshots will appear, etc. Otherwise, I hope you can wait for the game's release.

About the current state of the game now

Hey everyone. I don't know how I'm supposed to start with a summary of what happened to me, but yes, FBD is currently on hold until further notice, or rather, put on hold. That means there won't be any posts about my project for a long time, even if I quietly work on it from time to time. I've been experiencing burnout, and no matter how many hours I pour into my game, the results are meager for an average person like you, for example. And, frankly, I'm very sad that after all this time, I haven't been able to get it off the ground. It seems like everything is already there (the base game), but all this "filling" is killing me and making me impatient to do anything with it. Despite this, I won't be canceling this game, because it's fundamentally dear to me, and it would be a shame for you if it were canceled.Forgive me for not being able to live up to your expectations. I'm very sorry that I chose the wrong time to do this.

    New game engine

Due to the limitations of the Clickteam engine and how crude it is in general, I decided to take a very serious step, redesign it from scratch to use a different engine logic - GameMaker Studio 2. Yes, I decided to seriously work on this engine and migrate the content I'd already created on Clickteam. And surprisingly, more than half of what I'd created on Clickteam migrated over, which was a pleasant surprise. From now on, all my future games, including FBD itself, will be made in GameMaker. And most likely, all the ideas that the previous engine didn't allow due to its inherent limitations will be implemented here.
