Navigate through unpredictable tracks, building your marble's path on the fly. Balltopia, an indie simulation and strategy game from SwinklyDev, offers endless replayability with each race.

About this game

You like gambling, right? Of course you do! As I've always said, there's no better way to invest your money than putting it all on red.

Balltopia is a roguelike deckbuilder marble racing simulator where your only objective is to make more money. Featuring dozens of unique levels and over 50 game-altering cards, the potential to win is almost limitless. Assemble a deck, level up and stack synergies to find your winning hand. The path to victory is up to you!

This game was made to be broken. Do you want 20 copies of a card that earns money every time you bounce? You can do that. How about one that makes last place first? One that counts going out of bounds as winning the race? Spoiler alert: you can do all of that.

Whether you're maxing out multipliers with a 52-card hand or keeping it minimalist and hedging your bets on your active abilities, Balltopia will respect your approach.

And in case flying solo isn't your style, your viewers can join the fun. Balltopia features a versus Twitch chat mode that allows you to race against your followers and friends - you can even go fully AFK while it's running! Good times, most assuredly, will be had by all.

What are you waiting for? Hop on in and get the ball rolling.

    New Demo - Complete Overhaul

Yes - you read that correctly. I've spent the past couple of my months rewriting almost every part of Balltopia from scratch. It's still the same game at heart, but everything is improved. There's tons of new features I could get into, from the shop to stacking cards to the new abilities, but it's probably best if you just try it out.I've been working myself to the brink of insanity trying to get the game ready for Deckbuilders Fest, and while it's still so far from where I wish it could be (probably has some bugs, and the balance is all over the place) I've made some huge progress, and you should be able to get a pretty good idea of what's in store for the future of this game. Please, let me know what you think, and report any bugs in the discussions. I'll be working hard to get the balance more in line and fix any issues throughout the coming week.Swinkly

    Demo Update 1.5

New content/features: Purgatory and Endless Mode each have unique music now. Cards that award a flat bonus are now replaced with +1 and +2 variants as the run progresses so they won't become completely irrelevant in later levels. Reverted 2 levels from Octoberville and Deep Void that were less interesting after their reworks. Fixes: Fixed a bug that would cause you to win with any amount of money if the goal is "overflow". Fixed some visual bugs. Changed the star icon. Fixed an issue with the 5 extra balls boss that would cause The Podium to proc if you finished > 10th place.

Demo Update 1.4: Major new features and changes.

Major updates: Runs are now 15 levels long. The third level in every zone has a "Debuff" boss. Difficulty levels are now represented by stars and have other effects rather than just the scoring goals. Each deck will display stars for the highest difficulty you've beaten. Fantasy Deck has been changed to Nomad Deck, and now starts with Hustler and Dividends rather than random cards. Changes to deck balancing (notably, Standard and Emerald decks now begin with 2 card slots). Balance of numerous cards adjusted. Visual overhaul of Deep Void. Various other fixes.

    Demo Update 1.3

Major updates: The ability to travel to Purgatory is represented by a HUD icon. Hellhound now awards additional trips (stackable) if deleted while outside purgatory. Purgatory money bonuses have been increased with scaling based on the previous level goal. This should provide a better chance of winning the subsequent level in many cases. There is now a visual indicator when a new card slot is available for purchase. Ghost Ball card now available in demo. Balance changes: Almost all multiplicative cards have had their values adjusted as they could become extremely overpowered when stacked. Pi and Trapdoor have a "shop cooldown" and will not appear in consecutive shops. Trapdoor only has one use. All In will only let you wager 1.5x your current cash. Cleansing Flame now deletes itself to prevent permanent x2 multiplier with sufficient card slots. Balls have a small randomized velocity at the start of the round to prevent predictable launches. Other changes: Visual updates to purgatory Visual updates to Crystal Cave New game menu now shows a description of each difficulty level Pause button layout adjusted Font size adjusted in many places where it looked awkward

    Demo Update 1.2

Major changes: Results panel now shows multiplier for finishing in each place. Overhaul of numerous stages that were too RNG-dependent regardless of launch. Made container rotate faster at start of round to allow for better launches. Visual updates to container. Balls that have finished no longer have collision, preventing them from blocking the goal. Card changes: Energy Drink: Duration reduced to 1.5 seconds and acceleration increased slightly. Will no longer cause ball to fly upward. Antimatter: Awards flat speed bonus instead of multiplying to avoid uncontrollable launches. Both cards should be more consistently useful now. Bugfixes: Fixed bug that would cause ball to reset when not stuck.
